I have one of these tumblers. Mine was not provided with an earth connection and is clearly not double insulated by design. Therefore, for safety I replaced its two core flex with a three core equivalent and earthed mine.
Thank you for this video....this tumbler is much cheaper than the ones mostly used by shooters...one question, have you considered using steel pins instead of the steel balls...i think your primerpockets will be cleaner using pins ...all the best from the Netherlands
Is the tumbler gets hot after lets say a 3 days of tumbling constently? As a pyrotechinian i want to know if this gonna be reletivly safe to put very fpameable powders in there.
I do between 50 to 75 shells at time the only thing is balls I thought where supposed to be stainless steel ?able Looking at getting stainless steel pins
Mine come up very clean. The only part that doesn't is the primer pocket but I clean that separately anyway. Just make sure you use slightly smaller tumbling media so it wont have any issues with the smaller neck size.

Uses stainless steel pins instead of ball bearings it cleans inside the case and also the primer pockets.

I don't know as I only use it for 30 - 60 minutes at a time.
Sounds like you might want a more dependable/mainstream unit.

Today I put in 56 cases of .308, worked well. I am still using the stock BB's that it came with.
Have you tried it with dry media - like crushed corn-cob or walnut shell?
No I haven't tried the dry media. The wet media that I use does work very well though.
my guess is it would take a long time using soft media as the motion is allot slower than vibratory tumblers
How clean are the cases on the inside? Also is the media likely to get stuck on smaller diameter cases like 5.56/223? Thanks

I don't mind doing the primer pockets afterwards as I have it very quick.

I would say mine is designed for smaller items, hence the lower weight and faster speed. It does the job well though.
