Thanks for your review, I am almost ready to purchase one of these units. How is your machine holding up after a year of use? Would you purchase the same tumbler again, are you still happy with it?
Sure am! For the price point I think it’s great, still going strong, I’ve had it for 18 months now and no issues except the balls (shot) rusted so I bought some better quality ones apart from that - definately worth the money 👍
@@creativefnk had mine for 20 years, pretty much the same design although the body of mine is aluminium , still going strong, for those things try a bag of needles to polish with much better than ball bearings, you need a irregular shaped item or a very fine grit, way finer than play sand , plenty of recipes for different compounds to get a polish some are chemical and some just use lemon juice or citric acid faily liquid etc, Best results for polishing is barrel brite which is a uk product but its available in most places. its a powder that you mix and it makes a slurry , its got clay in it! Also brasso mixed with IPA is good
If it leaks turn the too bar retention screws 1 turn also use a bit of rubber or silicone character the same size as the circle it will never leak again
Thank you for the review. Actually its a cheap copy of kd 6808 as the real one has a metal body and it was heavier. Instead this is cheapy plastic. The metal balls that came with it became rusty after first use so are not stainless steel.
I use mine to clean brass cartridges and found when I use the slow speed it tumbles and cleans better. I also use a small amoun
Awesome that’s so cool!
