Stan has a losing h2h in slams vs the big 3. close to djokovic though, 4-5 in slam-matches. It is true that Nadal avoided alot of non-clay slams in his career which made his h2h look good, but i think that was due to djokovic and not due to wawrinka.
Go watch Gustavo Kuerten killing Federer with his backhands in RG 2004. Or Guga killing Sampras and Agassi in 2001 finals. (I mean it, WATCH it). Federer is not even close.
Stan, no question. Only he has the full upper body rotation, completely opening up his shoulders parallel to the baseline. Thiem is a close second, but Stan does it so effortlessly. Also, Stan's cross-court, down-the-line and inside-out backhand swings are almost indistinguishable, which is incredible - no other player has perfected the single-handed backhand to that level.

Not sure who u have been watching all these years. Dimitrov has a beautiful aggressive topspin forehand, the speed of which has riveled other pros. Yes he can hit a high slow slice as well as a low speedy slice. Did u watch his last 2 matches @ miami??

Most great backhands have MGR/I of above 21 or at least close. And then there's Gascquet who hurls rockets with his bh with a 19,7 MGR/I on a extended lenght racket which he barely grabs with three fingers around his ridiculous buttcap flare mid match. Maybe not as competitive as Stan's, but he surely has one of the most impressive and beautiful to watch bhs. It's insane the timing you must have to swing that racket that way on your ohbh.
RF's one-handed backhand is famous because of RF. Wawrinka's however is another level. If tennis were one-handed backhand he'd be the undisputed eternal GOAT.
I think Gasquet has the most control with his backhand. He can go big down the line or do a crazy whip cross court. His backhand was better than his forehand. Wawrinka probably has the best power backhand.

I've been a Federer fan since he first appeared on the tour, but I just can't get enough of Stan's one-handed backhand - it has such power and accuracy.
First, let me say that I believe that Roger Federer may be the very best representative for any sport ever in the history of mankind. Having said that number one would be Stan Wawrinka with the one headed backhand number two would be Roger Federer with the backhand and number three would be Pete Sampras with the best one handed backhand in the history of tennis.
