"I didn't build half the roof to reflect the lower budget I had when making this house." It looks amazing, the walls especially look really satisfying.
Absolutely BRILLIANT!! I am just starting a very similar MOC based around the Blacksmith myself, and I would love to hear more of how you adapted its design for the farmhouse, as I am also trying to replicate that look for additional buildings.
The main element to replicate is the curved struts and roofing angle i think, with these 2 replicated it will give the same feel. Same scale is important aswell
Instant subscribe. Your use of texture and color is so dense, thoughtful, cohesive, realistic - these are incredible builds and I appreciate the insights into your creative process.
This build looks amazing so far! You really inspired me with the path up to the blacksmith's house in your last video. I love the way you built it so realistically. 💪
I love this build you've done a brilliant job emulating the blacksmith. However one thing I'd argue is the chimney kinda fades in and doesn't match. Just by making it grey I think would do alot to keep the styles consistent. But either way superb work
I agree, I was focused on realistic representation of building materials (clay bricks being cheaper than stone bricks I assume) that I forgot about contrasting it with the roof, more greys (stone bricks) would have helped.
love the thought process that goes into this, thinking about the farmers are probably poorer and that effecting the build, looks awesome, honestly kinda glad you plan and making a second vid for the farm cause i wanna keep seeing more
Wow, I found you from the first part of this moc and I love the detail you put into everything. This is truly stunning. The farm house looks so realistic and I love the interior details inside of it. Continue with your great work!!
Nice build. I see they are using those claw pieces for the roof of one of the buildings in the new Medieval Town Square set 10332 and I was wondering about using them for one of my MOCs but it looks rather awkward especially as they only come in 2-stud-wide size.
Stunning! You must be excited for the new medieval town Square that was just announced! I bet it would make a great addition to this little scene. However, I love your MOC Farm build.
I can't wait to get my hands on it! Although I would probably do a separate dedicated diorama for that instead of adding it here since it looks like play scale, whilst the blacksmith is minifig scale so it's not compatible.
@@1by1Brick I think if you keep the building closed it’s pretty close to minifigure scale. Makes sense as to why you’d add it separately else where! Maybe with the lion knights castle since it’s supposed to be paired with that!
Loving your videos! Brilliant how you break down your build process without it getting mundane through unnecessary intricacies. I can't build my own MOCs so watching these is certainly the next best thing!! Please keep it up :)
Really cool build! For me, the amount of detail/process you show is perfect. Enough to be inspiring but quick enough so it stays interesting. It's also very interesting to hear your thoughts on the decisions you've made.
yeah it was difficult to show the contact point of the roof but basically the dark tan inverse slopes under the roof rests on those reddish brown L shaped panels along the edge of the second floor.
WOW! Incredible work, everything looks so good! Your style reminds me of Cube Brick and Edge of Bricks, who are my 2 favorite builders. Keep up the great work, this is my new favorite series on youtube!!!
Unfortunately I don't have enough time to make videos regularly and do instructions, I hoped by making all parts used visible in this video it will be a substitute for instructions, pausing the video will help for sure!
That is an exceptional build. The technique used to construct the modular parts is really well done. Can’t wait to see the full layout. Given today’s announcement have you got room to incorporate the new medieval town square?
Maybe one day I'll give that a go with a stand alone farm build, for now I'm focused on building up a broad library of moc videos. Something to ponder about though, thanks! 😊
I don't hate it, just prefer not using it if possible because it doesn't look great and makes the build look thicker and less proportionate. I'm generally referring to regular technic bricks with the holes, there are some nice looking technic pieces such as some of the panel types and wheel parts which do look good.
@@1by1Brick brilliant, thanks for replying and letting me know. I also wondered if you could disguise the technic piece in the stair well by putting some pins in and a then a tile piece? Going to sub now, got caught up watching the Cantina moc, which is brilliant btw .
Its possible but there might be gaps in the corners, ill have to check if it needs to be 2x4 or 2x6 tile, if its an odd number then it wont work though Thanks for the sub!
you are prolly the most underrated builder i have ever seen
Fr
Agreed
Great job! Can we share some of your work on our platforms with credit to you?
Sure, I would be honored 🙂
That thatched roof is an amazing design. Can't wait to watch the next update
Thank you!
It looks great! I really like the slower pacing of your videos too! Very nice and relaxing to watch!
Thank you! 😊
Same here!
My jaw dropped when I saw the roof design! It is gorgeous! I'm truly amazed and inspired.
Thanks!
Algorithm let's go get this guy some clicks!
Thanks! 😁
"I didn't build half the roof to reflect the lower budget I had when making this house."
It looks amazing, the walls especially look really satisfying.
Haha, could always mix in some normal smooth slopes and have gaps for a worn look to save on rock pieces
Though the size of the house and the relative niceness of the furnishings beg to differ.
What an absolutely fantastic build. So great attention to detail! So happy to have found this channel!
Thank you! 😊
Seriously impressive work, that chimney is perfect 🤩
Wow what beautiful and well engineered designs. Love it!
Everything is so incredibly detailed! I love this build and can't wait for the next installment!
Glad you like it!
I've never really been able to do great medieval buildings as you can. Great job on the roofing! Quite impressive how you got all those textures!
Thank you very much!
damn, you are really talented. I'm looking forward to future videos from you
Thank you!

You are incredible my friend
I can't wait for the second part!
Wow, I love this. Great choice of colors. And the roof is fantastic.
Thank you!
Clean builds, Hope to see the next Episodes soon ❤👍✌️
this is awesome!! i definitely think you should expand and add more sets and build a whole town! this is my new favorite build series!
Haha thanks! Something to ponder about
So cool, the sequel!! I love this series!
Thanks!
Gorgeous!
UA-cam algorythm bring me here. He did a good job, nice build 👍
I'd love to see how much each part/section is worth. Very awesome build!
I have no idea how much i spent on Lego but it's probably a financially irresponsible amount 😂
Amazing! The modular pieces are a masterful and useful approach to assembling the final cottage. I'll have to try that.
Glad my work is useful for you!
Seriously well done! Amazing type work!
Thank you!
the rood is awesome!!
boy, oh boy!It's beautiful!
Thanks!
Look great! Keep going with awesome moc!
Thanks, will do!

The best farmhouse I have ever seen. Chapeau! 😊

This format of you letting us copy your build is genius ❤

This is a fantastic farmhouse and terrain! Just subbed!
Cool build. Would love to see more tips and techniques. I am just starting with building mocs. Building and connecting roofs are difficult
yeah it was difficult to show the contact point of the roof but basically the dark tan inverse slopes under the roof rests on those reddish brown L shaped panels along the edge of the second floor.
Please keep doing more stuff like this, I cant explain how much I enjoy this. You've been doing a very good job so far!
Wow, thanks, I enjoy these a day in the life type builds too, not just battles all the time!
I really like where your channel is going! This is my favorite type of moc building video! Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
That's amazing! I can't wait to see all together! Congrats!!
Thank you!
Very good design
Gorgeous work! Really enjoy the thought put into interior details, and the focus on structural integrity!
Thank you!
Found your channel 4ish hours ago and subbed and already watching all your other videos!! Great content!
Thank you for the sub!

I really like the roof
Thanks!
awesome build as always
this is amazing I would love to build something just like this with my lego collection
Thank you!
Thats nice, you are a amazing builder
I wouldn't mind if you extend a few more videos. Just have fun
Haha, thanks!
I was waiting for this follow up! Learning a lot here.
Glad I could help!
I WISH I HAD THE PIECES AND SET BRO THIS IS AS COOL AS THE OTHER ONE!
Thanks! 😊
Excellent roof
Thanks!
Amazingly well done!!
Thanks!
Very cool build. 👍
filming and editing skills just as strong as building skills tho
Thanks!
amazing, can you please make a roof building Tutorial?
Ill do tutorials in the future after I have a more complete library of moc videos
Nice house mate! 😍
That is an exceptional build. The technique used to construct the modular parts is really well done. Can’t wait to see the full layout. Given today’s announcement have you got room to incorporate the new medieval town square?
I'll be doing a separate moc for the town square since this is probably located far from town center
I love this
Amazing build!
Thank you!
A lot of effort !
Amazing diorama!❤
Thank you!
Amazing work keep it up ❤
Great Job👍
amazing build, cant wait for part 3
Thanks!
dude this is amazing, keep it up :)
Those final rotating shots look very nice. I'm interested in how you dolly the camera and get such a smooth result?
I use a motorized camera slider for those shots
@@1by1Brick They look worth it - nice!
comment to support awesome builds
Thank you!
This is awesome! love how that thached roof came out. Do you build it digitally first?
Nope, I just build and undo-redo until I'm happy with it. Thanks btw!
I would make the chimney light grey and dark tan. Its current color has no contrast with the thatched roof.
Good point!
Great video!
Thanks!
You should do a diorama for the Lion Knights Castle and Medieval Town Square when it comes out
Yeah, planning to do that for my next medieval moc
Could you add another building pls I feel it would look great
Yeah i plan to have smaller side builds around the house
Magnifico!
Thanks!
you should combine the lions knights castle and the upcoming medieval town square into a build and add it onto this
I think ill do a separate build for that for an inner town setting
I saw medium nougat claws on the roof, what is the other color? Olive green? I havent found any set with that color of claws.
Very nice job :)
Thx
Thanks! It's dark tan. I found it randomly on bricklink, not sure which set it came from.
Thank you a lot. @@1by1Brick
that's a sub right there
Thanks for the sub!
I'am interested in the Music you use. What about a Link? Great Job.❤
I use music from epidemic sound
Can you give us an instructuon for the ground without buildings?
I'll be making tutorial videos one day, in the future
i hop you are thinking about submitting the farms house to the lego Ideas group
You never really do know until he says so :/……….. (and hop lol)
Maybe one day I'll give that a go with a stand alone farm build, for now I'm focused on building up a broad library of moc videos. Something to ponder about though, thanks! 😊
I just subscribed
Thanks for the sub!
Think you could of put a handle or nob on the other side of the door the in side.
Good point!
Why do you hate using technic?
I don't hate it, just prefer not using it if possible because it doesn't look great and makes the build look thicker and less proportionate. I'm generally referring to regular technic bricks with the holes, there are some nice looking technic pieces such as some of the panel types and wheel parts which do look good.
I think it would be nice to install you a tree
Botanical works is for the final episode
@@1by1BrickOh I'm looking forward to it
I really like the work that's been done so far😊
You make art with Lego
I feel like the veggie patch outside the smithy is too bare and needs either some weeds or seedlings
I do botanical work last on the final episodes of every build series
