You've done a fantastic job installing the automatic tool changer & sliding mechanism, it's impressive....it's what i need...any chance you might share how to make it slide out of the way?.....thanks, Martin
Thanks. I gave a general explanation in one of the earlier replies. Basically linear guides plus a double acting air cylinder. You need to use an output on your control to activate and deactivate a 2-stage air solenoid that sends pressure to one or the other air line input on the air cylinder. The platform has to be high enough to clear your spoilboard and any work material that might be on the table.......with additional space for any bit tip that might be extending below the platform. I'm right at the limit if I have a new 3/4" spoilboard and a full 3/4" material to cut.
