  • Rota Library is fully functional in school year 1968-69. Students and teachers prepare donated books from Oakmont RHS & Simpson JHS for the shelves, organized the books and helped run the library. The next year, a new library is built in SongSong Village, Rota by the US Navy Sea Bees.
    Special Thanks to:
*RPCV Fay Nelson Giordano for her journal, memories, photos and support-especially the photos of the library construction and dedication ceremony.
*Principal Jeffrey Lizotte, current principal of Oakmont Regional High School, for his assistance.
*David Jarmon, my brother, for photos of an Oakmont Yearbook
