Most screen printers will be drawn to using just one ink cleaning chemical. They will choose a multipurpose cleaner that can be used for color changes, cleaning up old ink left on screens, or for removing ink and cleaning the screen before reclaim. This would be the aptly named Supreme Wash.
To use Supreme wash for a color change, first card off as much ink as possible and simply spray Supreme Wash onto the image area. Using either a blue shop towel, shop rag, old scrap t shirt, anything absorbent, fold it over a couple times, this will allow you to use more of the surface area of the towel for efficient cleaning practices. Now simply scrub in a circular motion. While working on removing the ink, make sure to fold the cleaning towel onto a clean dry side often and reapply Supreme Wash as needed. When the screen is clean of ink, give one final rub down with a dry towel to remove the last of the Supreme Wash. Allow the clean area to dry for up to a minute before either putting down new tape or adding another ink color. We have also included “best practice” cleaning procedures on the bottle if you ever have any questions.
If you ever have any questions about what is in any of our Sgreen Products, the MSDS sheet is linked at the bottom of each product page.

Just started screen printing, if I use this would it just remove the ink and keep the burned Emulsion and screens can be stored with tape still on for use days or weeks later?

Hi @Pedro Camargo! that's correct. Supreme will remove ink but leave the stencil safe and sound. Tape is a little more subjective, but overall yes. I clean screens pretty often without the need of removing the tape.

    Is it non toxic?

Hi Tim! This is environmentally friendly as far as chemicals go and is scored only a 1 as a health hazard, however it does contain citrus serpene. Please see the SDS sheet here for more info! system.na3.netsuite.com/core/media/media.nl?id=2686175&c=3518025&h=8535f851e161b0cfa645&_xt=.pdf

@@Ryonet Will appreciate if you can make available all the SDS Sheet for SGreen as a single Zip file for download on the site/resource for air freight shipping purpose. I require same for for Galaxy inks and your FN-Inks too. Freight forwarder for International shipping is requesting for it. Thank you.

We've passed this info on to our team, it seems like a great way to streamline for our freight customers. Thanks for the feedback!

This video is not accurate. You can not retape after it's use, the residue/film it leaves behind won't let tape stick. You have to also wash it with water, after. It's a pain, and the smell is headache inducing.

Hey @Mike Sprague. Doesn't sound like Supreme is doing the trick for you and your process. I've found that i can stick tape to the screen after use, but i tend to use cotton rags or old test print tees to do my final wipe. Regardless, if the smell is not good for you, then i would try a product called PW4 www.screenprinting.com/products/saati-pw4-press-wash It's going to have a slightly higher VOC, so a little "hotter" and a little less green. taping after use shouldn't be an issue for you w/ PW4 and the smell will be different. Give it a try! Happy printing!

Ha! We've found it has a much better smell than other cleaners on the market but glad it's working well for your shop! Gloves are a good idea!
