Have you ever considered setting up a Patreon? I think that you are one of the most informative (and fun to watch) screen printing channels on UA-cam! Thank you so much for all that you do. You are a blessing!
Also a printer myself I always enjoy watching your videos and how helpful they are for the beginner audience and even for someone with years of experience they are always a joy to watch keep up the good work.
You are a really great presenter, well done on the quality of your videos. I've watched almost every one you've ever made and I'm at last starting to do things like an adult. Cheers Mate.
When using waterbased ink like most hobby people I reccomend putting remainder ink in a separate container, Because it has a different base to plastisol, waterbase dries a lot quicker/more. Doing this with waterbased inks helps keep your main pot of ink fresh.
Hey I have a question... We have some designs we want to keep on hand for periodic printing....like our school logo. Can I clean the ink off the screen and store it for a time to use again? Or do I need to wash the screen completely and reclaim it and re-burn the screen later? Thanks!!
Brutal..... Sick... spray water before chuck in the rubbish bin. ....Awesome.. Learning something new . Beauty way to star My Print life... Cheersssss Mate ....

Notice how Cam stress' the "like an adult .." part. I could only imagine the type of people that have worked for him in the past to make him constantly have to keep saying that......LMAO. Sounds like me when I have to bark on my son sometimes.....😂🤣😂🤣😂
Cam what spray bottles would you recommend for ink dregrador and other shop chemicals? I use 810 and 820 press wash and chew through spray nozzles. Thanks sir!
Hi just found your channel my son and i are going to try to make this. Can you say the name of the ink you use again and where to get the flash dryer from
I need trying figure out the most durable emulsion, or maybe I gotta do more coats for a thicker stencil, after on run some emulsion started peeling off in the finer details like the serif of a letter and stuff,
Are you wiping the screens with normal paper towels? Do you have any issues with them leaving fibers on the screen? Love your videos, they're super informative!

How do I get an pen ink stain out of my screen printed logo? Any help would be a lifesaver. There was a pen in my shorts pocket exploded and ink got on the logo! Thanks again!
We don't store screens, but we save the films. Once we are done with a job we reclaim and recoat the screen, if a job is reordered we grab the films and reburn it. There is no way we are going to store and catalogue hundreds of screen around our tiny shop.
I wouldn't recommend a pressure washer I started using one at work and it takes off the literal screen where the ink doesn't go through. The best method I liked was a lacquer solution that just took off the paint and left the screen nice and clean everything easy
@@djredline25 I unno we stopped using that method before I left the job but we started using an "eco" solvent thing plus water you can use a pressure washer just don't go to close to the screen I just took the nossle off and used it as a hose didn't need the water pressure really.
If we are unable to get Solvent / press cleaner... because Aus has such a limited supply.... What else can I use that will not get rid of the emulsion? HELP.. :(
So when I clean my screens I used a clean cloth with water but it destroys the emulsion. What does the screen cleaner contain? Alcohol? Solvents? Water?

Speaking of sloppy ink management... I have seen for a 8x6 logo the ink going all the way to the aluminum and over the edge... yes they stroked it from aluminum to aluminum... Pathetic. Should have took a picture.

Sometimes the simplest videos are the best. Thank you sir!
Thanks man. Gonna have one of these every Tuesday. Quick tips are way easier to shoot.
What is in your "press wash" bottle?
we use the cheap wipes and it works perfect when doing ink change give it a try
What are the cheap wipes, is that a brand???
Great videos man. These are seriously helping me like crazy. Right now I am a startup in my garage.

Do most beginers use waterbased?? Yikes that would be very tough, I feel like it would be to discouraging.
@@ThePrintLife Yea I believe so most of our customers that are starting off use waterbased since it's a lot easier to cure than plastisol
Does that spray have anything special in it or just water?
great work!
Do you always have to reclaim a screen after use ?
Hey I have a question... We have some designs we want to keep on hand for periodic printing....like our school logo. Can I clean the ink off the screen and store it for a time to use again? Or do I need to wash the screen completely and reclaim it and re-burn the screen later? Thanks!!

Haha they have all been great, but cleanliness has never been any of my guys strong suit.
@ThePrintLife what ink do you use for screen printing?
I've been meaning to ask.The consistency is what
I've been looking for!
I use wilflex, I have my issues with it but over all it's as good as any plastisol.
@@ThePrintLife Thank you for the info!
I appreciate the reply!
Hi. Thanks for the cool tips... What are you using as press-wash, is it some kind of special solution? Thanks.
We try all kinds right now I'm using kor-chem PC-235 is leaves no oily film, I like that.
2021 and you're helping more than you know
Thanks for sharing this ideas my friend!
Now when you say pre wash. What kind of liquid is in the spray bottle?

Cam what spray bottles would you recommend for ink dregrador and other shop chemicals? I use 810 and 820 press wash and chew through spray nozzles. Thanks sir!
I use Harris Pro Sprayers, They are chemical resistant so they last a lot longer before they start breaking down. I will link them in my amazon store.
Hi..... so what is the best way to clean the paint off a screen after it dries? I don't wanna "reclaim" the screen. I want to just use it again
Same process will work.
You got some of the best tips. Thanks for being consistantly active!
Any time thank you for leaving a comment and for watching, you are the best.

How'd you clean and prep a screen for storage that will be used on repeat orders?
