Thanks! The Harley is more stable all round in dirt and on pavement…the Honda more nimble. Both are great bikes. I pick a winner in part 2….stay tuned.
I liked the Affrica Twin. That motor is really nice and a great ride. They are putting it in a bunch of bikes now. I was just coming off another Honda and wanted something with some punch. Sorry about your helmet. Ride Safe!
Thanks! I researched and almost everyplace I looked said the helmet should be fine..it seems it, but I’m not 100% sure yet. Part 2 of This video I get into the pro’s/con’s of each bike..both good, but 1 winner ;)
Dude, yeah it was really good to ride w/Corey.. You could see I was really jealous of his 12 o’clock wheelie skills to!!! Haha. As far as sound goes? Both are great, different but great. Parallel twin sounds really cool and and some low Brrraaap that is nice..HD V-Twin screams in all ranges…totally subjective. Thanks for the watch!
Harley has been slammed for years by the metric crowd, now they have a high performing ADV all of s sudden power is not a big subject. Way to go HD, you built a winner.
Really liking both bikes alot. Hard to pick between the 2. Love the seat hight, comfort and more power on the PA. But feel way more confident in Hondas reliability and build quality. Think I may lean a little more to off road then on road, seems like the Honda would be a bit better off the pavement.
Great thoughts Curtis! I’ve not driven both bikes off-road yet so I can’t tell you my thoughts on that. What I can say is that different reviewers like different things off-road. Some like the amazing stability of the Pan-Am to push faster than they thought possible. Some like the traditional long suspension travel and better flickability of the Honda. You won’t go wrong or whatever you pick!
@bujotrio ya I agree, but the Harley definitely don't have the reliability like the Honda. Honda definitely needs to step up in performance and seat comfort. I sold the AT and bought a new honda Goldwing, sadly the seat comfort wasn't much better.
Thanks for the video.
@@jasontgillies heck yeah!
AT over HD all day
Interesting choice, what are your reasons?
There is something about AT riders. They always seem to be the most skilled of the bunch. Hopefully I can keep up with them when I get mine next week.
I seen some pretty amazing Africa twin riders, but then again, I’ve seen some pretty crappy ones too hopefully this bike makes you superstar!!!
i like the looks of the harley better, plus i think it maybe a bit more road focused which i would like...thanks for the post guys

Honda all the way.
Dependable quality and run for ever Honda hands down.
That they are known for.

Cory can RIDE, he tosses that AT around like a toy. The Honda sounds better IMO.

Yeah, it’s defiantly a great moto!! Kudos!!
The honda africa looks like the American hero bike😂
I Know!! Right!!

I owned an AT. Last year I dis a Pan Am road test. Way more confortable and powerful with more equipments !!
