    Anyone who's unsure, buy this. It's amazing. I'm a grown man and I'll admit I've been playing with this like a kid again. It brings out your inner cowboy. I dare you to try NOT spinning it around like a knock off Doc Holliday. My only suggestion would be to make sure you buy PLENTY of c02. I've been using like 3 cartridges a day since I got it.
    PS if you're low on c02 or want to empty the cartridge, pull the trigger and push the hammer in. Hard if the c02 is still filled.

    If you're looking around for a BB pistol I would recommend this one ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxnX9wE_Q8zvF75Y5iWzTU3Q4FlrtyGApQ . I ordered two BB pistols from Dan Wesson and this one is so much nicer than the other one. It's a well built gun. Can't say that about the other one. I thought the Mag was pretty easy to load. I also just lock the spring back and fill up the hole with 16 BB's with no sweat. Easily remove the rear part of the handle from the bottom with the Mag removed to access the CO2 chamber. Sweet. Very nice painted sights on both ends. Doesn't have blowback but the gun is rated at 410 fps the blowback edition is 365 fps.Didn't really know much about BB guns before but now I see that Umarex makes some fine BB guns. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer CO2 air pistol than this one I think. Just seems flawless. It even states on the packaging Glock perfection. I think my next Airgun may very well be an Umerex. Oh and if you really want a blowback (don't think amazon sells the Glock w/blowback) you might consider the Beretta APX by Umarex. But that gun is only rated at 310 fps. All things being equal, if it were me I'd buy the Glock again in a heartbeat :)

      That's exactly what l did l have both colts one in silver and one in worn black, the faux ivory on the silver looked cheap and nasty just like the plastic they are, yet the grips on the worn black were a very dark walnut looked nice on the black but because l was bored l switched them over, took literally seconds to do and the differe was astonishing and rewarding the faux ivory against the black did give them a genuine ivory look and the contrast was stunning then the dark walnut against the silver colt made them look far more premium, as if customised and looked much more expensive.

    bought one from local sports authority here in kona Hi. they only had the nickel plated, so that's what I got. used to have a ruger 30 carbine revolver, that I missed so much, but now, I can have fun with this one. trigger so nice, and good power, and very accurate. and loading the shells in the gun, like a real gun. plus it's all metal like a real gun.and also, it can shoot pellets, thanks to chinature reviews.

      You can’t really have adjustable sights on a peacemaker

    • @0neDoomedSpaceMarine
      @0neDoomedSpaceMarine 10 місяців тому

      @@hks2.3stroker6 Yes you can. Aside from various modernized derivatives by Ruger, Freedom Arms, and Magnum Research, Colt themselves sold versions of the 1873 which featured a proper drift adjustable rear sight even back in the 1800s and early 1900s, such as the special order made by the Bisley shooting club. Guys like Elmer Keith also designed his fabled No.5 custom one with a similar sight.
      I love the beautiful looks of the Peacemaker, and the classic plow grip feels _absolutely fantastic,_ but man do I not care for the shallow sight trough on the top strap, that's not the sight for a full sized sidearm, that's the kind of no-snag sight you'd want on a small and compact handgun, where you basically wouldn't expect to use them anyway.

    • @0neDoomedSpaceMarine
      @0neDoomedSpaceMarine 10 місяців тому

      @@biggusdickus5986 That'd be pretty cool, though I think a 4" or 4.5" barrel would be best for me, I like how revolvers of that size balance in general, there's still plenty of sight radius, and it looks particularly aesthetically pleasing to me.

    No bs talking about it or comparisons like others when shooting something like a 92f berreta model and they are all dressed up tactical and even have a course they run through and so on. That parts fine and if people are having fun that's the best thing on the planet. There needs to be more happiness on this earth. But I do think enjoy hearing bad mouthing of other people's videos, and or about there thoughts and so on. There's a time and place for that stuff and a good and bad way of commenting on others work. I'm still trying to learn the best way to not hurt someone feelings when they've put a lot of time and even money into stuff say a video on here etc. Anyways I really enjoyed your video and even though everyone gets a thumb up from me, mainly due to the fact that no matter how bad or how much I completely disagree with a person's words and or such the fact that it still took talent of some kind or of any kind to make and upload not to mention the courage knowing they were going to be attacked and bad words said abut them no matter the topic, subject matter or views expressed there's always jerks using absolutely horrible language that can hurt even people in the industry that are subjected to that style of ugly criticism there entire working group life

    It's a nice gun, but its muzzle velocity is very low. When the gun is fired, it reaches the target in almost 50 seconds, even though the target is close. In air rifles, it reaches the target even at a distance of 200 meters much faster than that, it's just an ornament

      Schofield isn't a rifled barrel l have just bought one a few weeks back it doesn't do well with pellets for accuracy because of the smooth bore and I'm a very very good shot, but with BBs it was far more accurate, the colts have a partially rifled barrel about 2.5 inches and the rest is smooth bore but the rifling puts the spin on the pellet.

      Be kinda difficult to tell someone where they can buy them unless that person asking lives in the same country as the person being asked. The reason why us often places will not ship to another country due to import export laws and the customs office on the receiving end...there are some that will ship to another country BUT IF it is Seized by Customs destroyed and or returned to shipper...The Oerson who Ordered the item and Paid for the item if First and Foremost Out the item,Out the Money Paid for the Item and Shipping, and customs in their country may or may not charge them for the seizure and testing done as well if it was destroyed or sent back to shipper, secondly they may also criminally charge the person who ordered the item for illegal importation of a firearm and much more.
      I live in Canada so if you live in Canada you can purchase these from Cabela, Princess Auto, Outdoor Outfitters, Airgun Source and many other places across Canada. Normal Price varies from place to place province to province lowest being $135.00 highest $550.00 Plus Shipping and Handling Plus any Insurance you may place on the order plus applicable taxes in Canadian Dollar. On Sale they range from $99.99 to $499.99 plus the shipping and handling insurance and applicable tax.
      When buying from.another country besides the rate of exchange on the money there is still shipping and handling, insurance if you so choose, applicable taxes but Also you will have to pay import tax duty and customs fees and local taxes.
      BEST to go to your local sporting goods store, airgun or airsoft store or even your local actual firearms dealer if they don't have it ask if they will order it In for you direct from Umarex. Most Dealers have Import Export Licence which allows them.to Import from Other Countries

    Hello.. From what distance do you shoot at the target? It reaches the target approximately one second after the trigger is released.. The muzzle velocity seems low to me.

    Where did you buy this play gun

    I just bought an 1858 Remington clone and from what I understand they
    must be cleaned immediately after firing or they will rust. What is
    involved in that? What solvents and to what degree do I need to
    disassemble? I'm told soap and water. Is that true? And what about
    lubrication. I'm new to black powder.

      This post is on umarex airgun
      But if your talking about actual powder burners. I have several original colts and remingtons among others no powder burner reproductions.
      Yes Black Powder Us Corrisive but not as pad as you'd think. I have firearms dating as far back as 1420 and U guarantee they didnt use soap and water back then yet they have mild potting and zero rust fully functional and used today.
      You should Alway clean your firearm after using it before storing it away till the next time and doesn't matter if its black powder or smokeless. Stake care of your Weapon and it will take care of You.
      I personally Use a copper cleaning brush ( bore brush) for the bore and the chambers in the cylinder followed by cloth patch with hopps number 9 in bore and chambers on the cylinder let sit a bit then repeat and again use the copper cleaning brush ( bore brush) then another cloth patch of hops number 9 followed by a nylon cleaning brush ( bore brush) repeat with cloth patch and hops number 8 followed by nylon brush ( bore brush). Then I use a dry patch on the bore and each chamber several times.
      I repeat these procedures till my dry patch comes out looking fairly clean then I use a cloth patch with light coating of hopps number 9 on the bore and rack chamber for storage.
      As for the outside of the gun I use a cloth soaked in hops number 9 let it sit for 15 29 minutes then use a dry cloth to wipe clean repeat if needed. Then wipe the entire gun down with a very light coating of hops number 9 for storage.
      How far do you strip the gun for cleaning, basic cleaning remove the cylinder remove the nipples from the cylender let nipples soak in hot water while cleaning the gun. ( let dry or blow dry when finished cleaning the rest of the gun and give very light coating hops number 9 for storage and reinstall in each chamber on cylender when finished cleaning ready to re assemble.) Once everything is cleaned reassemble slightly lubricate and store.
      Depending how often you shoot and how many rounds at least once every month every second month at most a total strip down and cleaning, remove cylender, chamber nipples, grip panels, main spring, hammer, cylender locking bar/trigger spring, trigger and ratchet arm and cylender locking bar.
      Using small brass or copper wire brush truly scrub the inside of the entire frame when these springs and parts rest and put light coating of hopps number 9 the roughly clean then lubricates each part and spring as well as the rest of the gun as mentioned. Reassemble give light coating of hops number 9 for storage.

      Probably not strong enough to withdtand fanning. Even standard real steel revolver are not strong enough. People doing fastdraw shooting have them modified to take the strain of fastdraw. Not me saying that but Howard Derby on his channel Fastdraw 101.
