I rode years back before and it's in manual transmission. Everything looks great but I'm just wondering why didn't make that with a DCT/paddle shifts? I'm trying to search if Toyota did that on their Land Cruisers because this is a V8. Lexus did that but the front grill is ugly.

People needs to stop whining about the price of the magnificent piece of machinery!!!!! People will pay 80K to 150K on a SUV that can't hold its resale value, reliability, and durability like the LC! Before you criticize about the price! Do your research on all and any SUV in its class, before you make your decision! 80K all day, on the Toyota "The King" Landcruiser!!!!!

Well....did your Cruiser finally arrive? Hope so. Not sure if this is your first or not, but you'll love it! I suspect most who are critical of the 200 series have never driven one, let alone owned one. I picked up my 2020 200 series the end of last November, fresh from Japan! Previously owned a 2004 100 series. See my comment to Jeff's review. Enjoy!

Hi Jeff. Greetings from Maine. Took delivery of my 2020 LC November 23rd. Fresh off the boat from Japan. 5 miles on the ODO. Blizzard White Pearl with Terra interior. Absolutely love it. Worth every penny. Previously owned (and loved) a 2004 100 series LC. Simply put, there is only one Land Cruiser. It's history, heritage, reliability, off road prowess...all legendary. Highest mpg so far 18.4. Recent 6 hour road trip at 70mph...16.9 mpg. Extremely comfortable seats and ride. Love the terra interior. A must have IMO. Purchased an original JDM LC emergency warning triangle for the left tailgate storage compartment, which is it's proper place. Turned off the rear parking sensors, as the back up camera is all you need and the constant alerts were annoying. Also turned off auto headlights, auto folding mirrors. I prefer to use the cooler box for storage. I'm not a fan of the self leveling headlights though or the fact that the 3rd row is not at least removable. My 2004 had removable 3rds which was great. The heritage edition has 3rd row delete but I prefer the styling of the "base", which is an amusing term, since it comes pretty much fully equipped, with only the rear seat entertainment system as the sole major option. A "base" price of a bit over $87,000 on mine. But considering the fact that the average price of a new vehicle is getting closer every day to $40,000, I consider the LC a bargain for those who can afford one.
BryanME I have read a few posts over on ih8mud and my understanding is you can remove the rear seat, but requires a couple tools. Obviously not going to move them in and out like the 100 series but you can remove seats in a 200 series.

Great review as always mr. Jiff, but in the middle east we get way more options than this, especially cosmetic ones like 20" rims and body kits and all chrome stuff, just Google Land cruiser vxs grand touring guys! U'll love it
You folks get many more options in your Toyota SUVs. I was recently watching a few videos from your area and learned you can buy this with the 4.6 V8 or the 4.0 V6. My personal preference would be the very basic Land Cruiser Prado 2 door with the 2.7 engine and manual transmission.
