"Better to Overcooked Steak then Undercook it" SACRILEGE!!!! Lol
Use your soldering iron to put grill marks on. With a fresh lead free tip, of course.
Create a grid g-code and put a fresh nozzle on the printer, automate the steak making
@@NopeDK Use the top layer ironing feature to get a nice sear
And if you accidentally burn it, just use a belt sander and try again!
you guys are having waaay too much fun with this
You could also food-safely braze a long piece of horizontal metal, disable some thermal warnings/pid and create g-code to brand the sear marks on in a couple of passes. The compression between the bed and the toolhead might even improve cooking.
Maybe you can't cook a steak for satisfaction, but a precision temperature controlled enclosure doubles as a proofing box.
Now all we need is a cocopress with a heated bed so we can simultaneously bake a croissant and fill it with chocolate for dessert
We came full circle. Proper printing used a grill plate to make a printer and now nero used a printer to make a grill plate.
This is the content we need more of!!!!
Luv it!
While I cook Hermit Crab on my Ender 3 Nero just casually cooks the steak... Bon Appetit!
You can make some toast and heat water for the coffee. Greetings from Spain. It was so hilarious! 🤣
Fun video. I liked it.
Welp, you done it now.... The doomsday crowd now has a new reason to buy a 3D printer... In case the world ends, they have a way to cook meat as a back up, lol
Bet the garage smelled much better cooking steak than ABS
it did!
Here is your mined engagement for your algorithm. This video is hilarious.
New question for the "Will it blend?" community: "Does it steak?"
The science we all deserve
yummy!
if you arent eating a steak blue rare, you aint living
I've been served worse in restaurants...
For a tasty steak - marinate for 12h in a Resin of your choice - dont forget to clean with 99% Isoproanl befor grilling it.
For the folks which only got dancing and painting in school -- this was a joke, resin is toxic. dont do this. always wear gloves with uncured resin AND DONT EAT IT!!
I came to the comments section looking for a particular comment - and it wasn't there, so I'm going to say it. "(Uncle) Jessy, we need to cook" 😁 It could have been a collab, lol.
this had no right to work this good!
I KNOW!
Could’ve ironed the top layer with the nozzle to get a crust
What cut is that, Filet-ment? Is the technique called File-ment Deposition Mealing?
Couldve went for a 150c fuse and modified the firmware
Doesn't look too bad is an equivalent statement to doesn't look too good.
If I was going to do a pork chop should I use the smooth or textured side of my build plate?
Now you just need a beer fridge in the garage and your set lol
Already got one...it's just off camera
Def should have shoved a thermistor inside to get the internal temp
sizzle!
I'll have to try cooking one of my vegi burgers on mine 😂
Im from argentina, i used my printer for heat water to the mate
Hmmm...if you installed UV lights at the top of the printer, kept the reflective interior could you use a 3D printer as a greenhouse gardening system? To start seeds, or grow an herb garden... Can even control the climate with the bed perhaps and burn weeds with the hotend. You have till next April fools day to cobble it together :)
damn, now i'm hungry.
Are you really getting away with using Vision Miner adhesive on bare spring steel? I've tried that, and got almost no adhesion to the steel. I would be curious to see if "seasoning" the steel by cooking on it helps with adhesion.
Well this printer is only really used for the fancier filaments, mostly Nylons/PC at high temps with additives like GF/CF
Ive also printed ABS on it sucessfully. Didnt want a PEI bed since the nozzle can do 500c and rather have steel contact in the event of an uh oh
My 3d printer can roast a rib roast and the print head hits 500c so I can print grill marks (200C BED, 120c chamber).. and cost more then my monogram 40" grill/oven
1 less reason to leave my garage.
in the future we can print a steak and grill it at the same time
Needs a tad more ABS I think.
Grill off at RMRRF?
pancakes next
Being beef, you definitively want to keep a red tint in the middle. Infact, being beef, you can eat it raw even
Oh I know. I like a nice med rare with a bit of colour in the middle. Was hard to show on cam but after 10 mins the middle at least on the outside still looked very "fresh". And rather didn't risk it.
In Germany we call it „shoe sole“.
3D Musketeers did it differently LOL,
CNC kitchen also did a video years ago on it as well. They both uses sous vide though iirc
Also hungry for steak now damn
3D printer mukbang?
Build plate should go in the dishwasher to clean up…
Looks like scotch fillet….
The nozzle could put the griddle bars on it if you were keen…
Maybe a new segment like the old will it blend videos… what’s next?
Gib voron delta pls
Rad
Would you eat a 3d printed steak?
Steak is steak
I dont know what that is but its clearly to small to be a steak😂
buy steak, cut steak into pieces, no longer steak
SCIENCE!
@@CanuckCreator lol
April Fools' a little late this year, eh?
Yep, i dont do videos on mondays, and by not doing an april fools video ON april 1st i get the bonus of extra youtube engagement everytime someone leaves a comment pointing it out
@@CanuckCreator I curse the error of my ways in not devotedly following your upload schedule
ua-cam.com/video/1ya1pD0xXtM/v-deo.html
I think Grant was the first to do this ;)
Do a quick YT search, its been doing by others several times in the past lol, as i called out in the video.
(and i was actually midway through filming this when i saw he was streaming his own cooking)
you obviously never actually cooked a steak for yourself in real life.
Correct, 36 years on this planet and ive cooked one
My sous vide and cast iron skillet are just for show, help tie the kitchen together
