There is acceleration in the video! Actually, none of the other interpretations of Andrea Gonzalez's "Tango en Skai" that I saw had her performing the song with the same pace (bpm) and level of skill.
Stunning performance. Still, the video got more than 300 dislikes. I propose one minute of silence for the miserable lives of those haters who'll never produce anything half as beautiful as this.
She does seem to have a different touch and kind of varies the tempo than other versions I have heard of this. I don't see anything wrong, it makes this performance stand out.

I'm not sure if I've commented on this performance or not, but I've certainly watched it many times. I love the composition. The interpretation is truly inspiring.
I'm certain that the late Roland Dyens would very much enjoy this interpretation of his piece and that he would have a big smile on his face while elaborating on it after having listened to it. I love the clarity of the guitar and the recording: crisp and bright sounding. Of course, Ms. Caballero plays this piece beautifully. Those flurries of notes going up the neck are clean and fast as they should be and the tango element of the piece is always in the forefront. Terrific. GD
He actually said that most times he heard other interpretations, he disliked the way they would go out of tempo, as a tango is a dance and should be extremely regular. This particular cover although very accurate and clean falls into that category. Listen to Roland's version and this one back-to-back I am sure you'll hear what I mean. (I think I read that quote on the sheet, not sure)

I know, because I've been thrown off on the dance floor by live waltz bands. That said, as a listening piece, this performance is brilliant and clean AF. 10/10 love it anyway.

Marvelous. You can read the inner joy in playing this piece by seeing Ms. Gonzalez' expressions. I've started working on this piece and it is a real blast!

I've watched this version at least 50 times....I actually prefer it to the version the Maestro Monsieur Dyens performed himself...and his version is awesome

This was an outstanding performance on an exceptional instrument. This guitar's fine articulation leaves the performer with no place to hide - and Ms. Caballero was equal to that challenge. I was also aware of how much the string selection contributed to a balance between full-bodied resonance and crystal-clear individual notes; I would be grateful if Siccas would add that info to the 'liner notes' ... I realized that my comment would 'light a fresh candle' - several months after the original post and most of the prior comments. I hope my belated "Bravo!" brings an unexpected smile to Ms. Caballero - long after she has moved on to other performances! >

Her timing is absolutely impeccable. So many performers lose the timing on the triplets, she nails it.
She's perfect, an extraordinary guitarist.

This has some creative fingerings and is really well executed. She is a terrific performer.

Its actuallly not a tango since the piece is written in 4/4 (as the name "en skai" suggests) :p
