I know all possible versions of this prelude by hundreds of guitar players and this one is probably one of the best. Simple, natural and a perfect pace!
I would spend my whole life to learn to play this composition only, but she is playing it so perfect so I think I would need to have another life more...
There are most likely other compositions that she also decided to spend her whole life on, but it's almost never as hard as you would think. Just take your time to learn that study piece you choose, and play it until you know it like the back of your hand and eventually the skills and memories you've made through learning that piece will make other piece easier to learn, and you're a master before you know it ☺️ it's that simple. Not easy, mind you, but simple.
@@brandonvu5429 What you are saying is not wrong. But this is a level that not maybe is possible in a lifetime, or maybe two. This is 8 hrs a day for 15 years. At least. Every day. Or twice. But its possible.
you can't learn to play like this in one lifetime. She has been at it for many lifetimes. No way can this be done the way she is doing it without a big fat karmic head start.
@@jesuisravi Literally no. All it takes is practice and determination. Just practice regularly and well and you (and any human) can make beautiful music. Geniuses are created, not born. Created by hard work, not by "big fat karmic head starts".
I'm always amazed at the technical progress + improvement in musicality with this new generation of classical guitarists. And Andrea González Caballero is right up there on top with Australian, Stephanie Jones. It's one thing to play this prelude on a violin. But it's another thing altogether to play it on the guitar. Andrea González Caballero's techinque is stunning! Unbelievable! I'd really like to hear her play this piece at a slightly slower tempo, despite being a presto.
agreed tomas - it feels a bit like she is just 105% confident with her high tempo, should be 110% ;-) listening to this is slightly less enjoyable than it could be... there is a touch too much virtuosity here
If people dislike this great piece of music they seems very unclear of the music been played, please dont click the dislike symbol if you dont know what it is, its very rude, Andrea is a gifted player so one must not let her feelings down in any ways, Andrea you are just great.
This is the next piece I want to learn. Took me half a year to learn Gavotte 1 & 2 from the BWV 995 lute suite. I estimate this piece will take a lifetime, but it will be even more satisfying to hear those notes come alive under your fingertips. Beautifully renditioned! Beautifully written. This guitar was handled by a true master. And Bach is my favorite composer ever, he even believed in Jesus!!!! :) And he was born RIGHT into the age of enlightenment... So glad he kept true to his belief or some of this great music would've never been composed! He was definitely guided by the Holy Spirit.
I can get through this piece at a turtle's pace... Andrea G. Caballero plays it like a tigress! I am always so impressed with Andrea's performances. What a force! No one like her.
CHAPEAU Andrea❤🌷
I cant with this video! love her so much!! I've been listening to this prelude for more than 20 years and it sounds great with everyone who plays it well and miss Gonzales Caballero has made history in this recording. Great audio also, thank you. Greets from México.
Excelente, Andrea!
A sad thing you Andrea probably won't ever see my comment, but you have given me back my old feelings for the classical guitar, and , believe me, I've put down more than the suggested 10,000 hrs they say requested to handle the thing properly. I just sent this link to my close friend, a female author, she just now having released her new lovely novel on youth and rock music and being here on Earth, on Jimi and Beatles and the lot. Bach, as you Andrea so clearly show, is the Parnassus of all music, covering everything.
This (piece) is one of only a couple of gauntlets serious professional guitarists have to run - to call themselves masters of the instrument... and I'm sorry to have to say this, but Andrea's playing above might be the best I've ever heard ----- a "definitive version" ------ and I don't say this lightly, as I go back to the late 60's with J. Williams incredible CBS recording. She's unbelievable. Maybe the Henryk Szeryng of the guitar. Dam. So glad I'm still around to enjoy.
Andrea Gonzalez Caballero give us a rendition of J S. Bach with a clear tecnic a solid ritm she is on the way to the Mastership, without doubt. I wish her a long way of successful concerts. ❤🌷
I find the 2nd half of this piece to be very difficult, I might do better if my guitar was smaller than 664 mm and 54 mm at the nut but I suspect I’d still hit some of the same hard spots that throw me off every time. Andrea plays this really well.
I just love this woman. She has a natural "no nonsense, let's just do it" boldness in her playing that puts moot, overly academic critique where it profoundly belongs: to the garbage can.
I know all possible versions of this prelude by hundreds of guitar players and this one
is probably one of the best.
Simple, natural and a perfect pace!
I practice this pièces as same fingeuring and its Véry hard and i Nevers Play Lake this .
I've been playing and watching guitar stuff for 35 years, this is the best playing I've ever seen.
you should see and listen to David Russell's version
I would spend my whole life to learn to play this composition only, but she is playing it so perfect so I think I would need to have another life more...
Yes, tough piece and she nails it. I prefer a slightly slower tempo....but hey...interpretation right.

You need to get out more Thomas. The world is full of players of this level. There is no 'right on top'. They're all amazing.

Strong notes, great phrasing, textbook transitions and technique. It's flawless
Brilliant, clear, bright and confident 👏🏼

I'm not a christian, but I loved your comment. Bach is also my favorite. I'm also learning this one :) Cheers
"Whenever I heard her play she always melt my strings and my heart 😍😍😍💙💙💙💙" - I couldn't agree more!! She's absolutely amazing!

Amazing !!!! She leaps and dances where many stumble and fall !
Well said
That is beautiful. That's why I love the classical guitar.
Andrea is the greatest. She puts so much emotion and her own style into it. So amazing.
WOW! To play this so cleanly at this tempo is a great accomplishment.
Such high human spirit brought through this guitar - the world needs more and more of this!

What a gift to the world this young woman is! Such joy.
It is wonderful how Andrea plays this prelude of Bach, it is So Spiritual. I love it. ❤
Whenever I heard her play she always melt my strings and my heart 😍😍😍💙💙💙💙
Superb rendering of one of my favorites.... Many many versions of this on guitar out there now but this one speaks to me as only a few do.
A dream , this is outstanding Andrea always love your playing, your one in a million
Espectacular, bravo.
CHAPEAU Andrea❤🌷
Que bonito sonido. Yo tengo una Marin Monter del 2000. Felicitaciones por tocar tan bien.
Absolutely terrific, you are quite the talented player
Fantastique
I’m throwing my guitar away. I don’t think I’ve even ever heard of someone playing Bach this beautifully
No, hang in there. She had to start somewhere.
Don't do that, play, learn, play again !
look up John Williams or Julian Bream
She would encourage you to never throw your guitar away. I think I will get some new strings. She's just wonderful.
Hmmm….Segovia
Stunning performance of skill and talent once again. Thank you Andrea, you are amazing.
I really think Bach's compositions are the best when played through guitar
Piano is pretty good to....especially the fugues
The joy of Bach is that it can sound great on pretty much any instrument. As a classical guitarist, I am in awe of Bach on the violin.
Thank you so much for your hard work and persistence.
ESPECTACULAR!! UNA DE LAS MEJORES VERSIONES EN YT! TIENES UN NUEVO SUSCRIPTOR!
Maravillosa y emocionante Profesional

Excellent interpretation. It is played with lots of 'oomph' and the tone and timbre of each note is clear as crystal! Great work.
Excelente, Andrea!

Impressive handling of that instrument. Beautifully played.

Incredible! I enjoyed this so much!

I love her...because she is such a
"great classical guitarist."
She is master of dynamics...!! Amazing👍👍
I just love this woman. She has a natural "no nonsense, let's just do it" boldness in her playing that puts moot, overly academic critique where it profoundly belongs: to the garbage can.
I am curious whose arrangement this is. Wonderful execution, as always, by Andrea, on a fine guitar!!
This is bloody fast! So much precision and muscolarity. I appreciate this, but I prefer slower performances, with more weight to "pauses".
Fantástico Andrea. Parabéns!!
