Awesome work and advice! I'm returning to modeling after decades and enjoying building the Bronco. I'm just about to do the side panel decals and I'm intrigued by your technique using soapy water, your fingers, and avoiding the Micro Set and Sol products. I've (re)discovered that decals hate fingers, but you did great with yours. What's the secret? Thanks. - Blake
Love your channel and this build, question, after installing the side decals do you cut into the door panel lines or push them into the panel lines while decal is still pliable. Thanks, Greg.
I will let the decals set up a bit and then make a cut the decal into the panel line using a fresh, sharp blade. I then use decal setting solution to help the decal set into the panel line.
And I love the build so far
Thanks
Really cool details.
Thanks.
Your progress on the Bronco looks Great!!! I really like the body color. Nice work!!!! I'll be watching
Thank you

Thank you and welcome back to the hobby. Yes decals can be very finicky. Make sure your fingers are wet when touching the decals, see if that helps.

I found that the micro set dries way too quickly and the sol is a lot more forgiving and i stopped using it
Ya I think I might slow down on using that stuff until I need it. Thanks
Do you think that you will ever do a custom build like the 63 corvette you did
I have some ideas in mind but I have a lot of kits that I want to do stock as well. I may have too many kits.
