I used to think my regional food was not good and outdated. western food is better. But more I am getting exposure, indian food is lot lot better than western food and healthier.
These edamame are so common in India that we don't think so highly of it.
Basically we eat all these super foods without giving a thought.

I thought you had to cook them before eating? The packet says don’t eat them raw!

Hello! Yes, you need to steam them, then you can either eat them warmer cold, a little flaky salt on top is really a nice addition!💕💕

      Hello!
Generally speaking, no, you do not eat the pods. You just eat the beans inside. However, if you want to eat the pods, go ahead and eat the pods! It’s probably some pretty good roughage! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a great comment, and I’d be so grateful if you kindly subscribe to my channel.
Sending best wishes for a lovely day!
      Warm regards,

Immature soybeans*** not just any soybeans.

    • @HeidiDulebohn1

I grew up in a central Illinois and I worked in countless soybean fields, as a kid, and professionally traded soybeans as an adult for years. When you look at edamame, it does make sense they’re immature, not quite the type we harvest in October November on our farms.
It’s a cool crop with a long history. Thanks for watching!
