Can’t wait to get this seamless coop mod on PC, I am playing Elden Ring on PS4 and the multiplayer is so unbalanced and frustrating. This mod is actually what Elden Ring should be, it's just perfect! Love your seamless invasions, can’t wait to see more :)
I'm still baffled over the fact that a MOD manage to provide a smoother multiplayer experience than the base game's servers. Also, I never realized how much the anti-cheat tanks the performances in regards to latency. Fromsoft should ditch that anti-cheat for something better, I know the anti-cheat is not the only problem there, since their netcoding has always been a pain to deal with, but with the anti-cheat is just unbearable sometimes. Hell, the MOD even reminded me how it feels to actually roll-catch people! LOL
Look up the reasons why they even had to add anticheat retroactively in the first place even on the older games, hard to find better solutions when we have to deal with hackers, it always come at a price. A Better anticheat could need more invasive systems and we know how a lot of people feel about that
@@ashesofaranea Isn't EASY one of the top ones? I not sure if its a matter of quality of service but more of compatibility. Listen, I know nothing about online/software security but there must be an anti-cheat that performs better with fromsoft games, without worsening the already bad netcoding. AC6 multiplayer for example is borderline unplayable with EASY. Edit: Hell, the game's meta is actually based around the exploitation of the poor net-coding
lol you think a mod like this is so impressive that it took a team to make. The fact is a simple change to the multiplayer net code is all it takes. Fromsoft is just that bad at multiplayer. They do everything else really well though.
as a coop player I checked out this mod wiht my coop partner. Fears of bieng banned if i ever forget myself and try to bring a seemless toon into ers (eac controlled) servers scared me off. How do you manage this, have you just resigned to never play on EAC controlled servers again.. or wussup?

From soft needs to hire the team who made this mod, and revamp the summon system. I dont see any chance of loss on this.

The saves are completely separate so you don't have to worry about that ever!
