      Amazing!!!
Do not forget to rotate the thighs of the phantom for him to stay on the horse better

The good thing with the Boss Fight Studio figurines is that they can be repackaged easily and designed to do so. Or you can just buy two…

Interesting review! I'm sorry that you are struggling to pose the horse, but I can understand your frustration. Horses are actually complicated animals. I've drawn enough to know, believe me! Heh. As a life long Phantom fan, and action figure collector, I can't wait to get my Phantom and Hero sets in-hand! I'll have to wait a few weeks before they arrive here in the States though. I do kind of wish that the text was spaced differently over my art, but I didn't have any say in that aspect of things. I just provided the Phantom, Hero, and the background image, with Steve assisting with the colors.
By the sound of things, I'm guessing that you haven't spent much time around horses? Being from a rural part of Virginia in the U.S., I've studied and drawn horses throughout my life, so please allow me to offer up a tidbit of information about horse anatomy that might help you when you pose your horse figure. Most animals have much different legs than humans. If you observe a cat or a dog, you can see this right away. It's not just a matter of proportion and shape, it's also in regards to how the knee joint works. Like a cat, dog, or deer, a horse's back legs actually swoop backwards to a knee joint that bends forward (where as humans do the opposite, bending backwards at the knee), and then, the lower leg of a horse angles forward again below the knee. This is how the back leg of a horse works. In comparison, the front leg of a horse works differently also-- behaving more like a human arm in the way that it bends, but a human arm turned backwards. The front knee works like a human elbow, and the ankle works sort of like a human wrist in the way that it bends. Keeping that in mind when you pose your Hero figure, and it should help you achieve more credible poses. This illustration of a horse's back legs might prove beneficial:

Also this diagram showing drawings of a horse in various running positions might help to:

Anyway, I liked your review, and I agree about the text on the back, and the sort of blank background inside the box. It would have been nice to have gotten the background of the Phantom Cave behind the figures, but I guess Boss Fight wanted a more simple look to things. When you rotate the Phantom's thigh swivels to put him in the saddle, also turn his ankles so that his feet are facing forwards, and insert his feet into the stirrups. This will prevent him from falling off the horse as it does in real life. Anway, I and hope that I've been of some help to you in regards to posing Hero.

Thank you for your comments Loston.
A little behind the scenes is that after watching other BFS reviews Jermayn realised the secret of the stand and the turning of the Phantoms thighs made such a difference to him staying on the horse, he actually re recorded the review.
Love your insights and some extra information on the anatomy of horses. Great information indeed. I am sure many other viewers and phans will also like the insight as well.
Have you ever thought about drawing a cover or sequential work for the Phantom? We receive a lot of positive comments about your work from phans. You clearly understand and have a love for the character.

      HAHAHAHA Sorry about that!
You cannot take it with it you and it is likely the best figurine set we have ever seen with The Phantom and Hero.

@@Chroniclechamber I've been watching your older podcasts. You got my interest with the Phantom's World books. Although I didn't see it reviewed, Phantom #1864 "Family Affair" a story about the twins intrigued me. I've given up finding U.S. Phantom Frew distributors, relying instead on Australian sellers using ebay instead. However, do you have any Australian retailers or private sellers recommendations willing to use paypal for me to acquire Frew Phantom? As always, I enjoy your channel very much even though it's costing me but the stories are well worth it. Thanks, and best to you from Texas.

No not yet. We did discuss that in the review. Makes sense producing Hero seeing they already had horse molds for Zorro and other H.A.C.K.S lines.
