A short review of the collected TPB of the first three Phantom comic graphic novels from Moonstone Books. This volume went through two print runs with different covers and adds a few nice extras to the three tales: THE SINGH WEB, THE TREASURES OF BANGALLA and THE GHOST KILLER.
Unfortunately this volume is OOP but can be found used or you can get the three original separate volumes.

Moonstone did an interesting job with the character. I really encourage you to read the comics drawn by the great 70s Batman artist Jim Aparo , republished recently by Hermes Press. Theyre all short stories, but with a "pulp" style, that shows the hero dealing with lost civilizations and even a pharaos mummy. Anyway very fun stuff.

I pretty much devour any Phantom story I get my hands on. I need to get some of the Hermes comic reprints. I wish I had started on their newspaper strip reprints years ago but missed all the initial volumes.
