The Old Testament hundreds of years before He was born prophesied that the Messiah would be crucified for our sins and rise again. Read Isaiah 53, Psalm 22, Daniel 9 and Zechariah 12:10 for example
Jesus disciples also believed it and all historians basically admitted Jesus did undergo the crucifixion so a man 600 years later saying different should raise some alarms OK someone coming with a different gospel (God is one and Jesus is his messiah) 🙏 and Jesus said "I was dead, and behold, I'm alive forever more!)
Apostle John ate with Jesus, walked with Jesus, talked with Jesus for more than three years. And at the end he was beneath the cross and saw the Lord crucifixed on it. And all this he writed down as an eyewitness. Then after 600 years! came up some guy selfproclaming as a god's prophet who have never seen Jesus nor talk to anybody who had seen Jesus and says Jesus wasn't killed nor crucifixed! Wauu... Which account should we belive to?
It was Paul the false apostle who postulated the theory of "original sin". According to him, Jesus died for your sins. But Christ never claimed this. 😮
The Scriptures of the Old Testament, written hundreds of years before Jesus was on earth, prophesied that He would die for our sins: Isaiah 53:5 ESV "But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed."
They're making the argument that they believe that Allah (swt) intentionally deceived and they seem to have an issue with that when in their bible it intentionally says that God deceives. God sends strong delusions 2 Thess 2:11-12
But he was hung on the cross... but it didn't killed him.... so there was no crucifixion. Only if he was died on the cross than he was crucified. So the Quran is right. And the Quran is amazing, it didn't denied history the Quran only denying their beliefs... the Christian beliefs and Jewish believe. SubhanAllah
@sun2620 for the new Christians( not the true followers of Jesus.) it is necessary dead he died...otherwise the theory they made up about that Jesus died for your sins could not be correct
it is Mohd's body that was buried and decayed into the earth... On the other hand Jesus rose from the dead...And appeared to his appostles..when Thomas doubted until he put his hand and touched the wound on his side..He replied " MY LORD & MY GOD. AND in your Quaran it is clearly said that your Alah took Jesus body & soul into heaven. Did you not know ? How the hell did the Quaran have all about Adam & Moses & Abraham & etc..Jibreel told Mohd..They kind of slept with each other..Copied from the Torah and Ingeel.
3 theories from scholars, 1.God did the face swap, 2. enemies put up a random to save themselves from humiliation, 3. swoon theory. None of these theories are in the Quran. But I think 2. is most likely.
one thing i learned in interpreting the Qur'an is that God with all his wisdom and glory does not need to explain something in too much detail. just the things that need to be known and that provide wisdom. just understand the context and use it as evidence for something deeper. curiosity can lead someone to questions ("What if" things) that are meaningless and away from the essence of what God wants to convey and teach
The other rejected Gospels from Christian communities of the 1st century had 2 theories... 1) Simon of Cyrene was crucified Or 2) Judas the traitor was crucified
Or, you can listen to the prophets that came before Jesus that said he will die for the sins of the world. I posted Isaiah below that predicted Jesus’ crucifixion centuries before Jesus incarnated. We have the physical proof from manuscripts that are carbon dated centuries before Jesus came. “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:4-5) Isaiah 53:10-11 “Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.” Regardless of what you believe, isn’t it mind blowing that Isaiah talked about Jesus’ crucifixion centuries before it happened?
Or, you can believe in what the prophets said, that the messiah will suffer in order to pay for the sins of the world. Below, I posted Isiah who predicted Jesus’s crucifixion centuries before Christ’s incarnation. We have carbon dated proof or manuscripts that came centuries before Jesus talking about how he will die for the sins of the world. “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. @@NETijenIndo Theory 1. is popular because it's derived from Ibn Abbas and Ibn Kathir, to the point it reaches Quran translations in brackets. So people get confused thinking it's part of the Quran, but it's not. It's just tafsir.
My personal view regarding the crucifixion is like this: prior to the arrest the chief priest bribe judas. They let judas to go with the roman soldier to tell them who jesus is so that they can arrest him. So they took judas so that he can identify jesus to them. The location and the time, it was midnight and when they reach the area it was too dark. So jesus ask them who is it you want? They replied jesus of nazareth Then jesus said i am he and all fell down to the ground, now there was a chance that when the roman regain their senses there was a possibility that instead of arresting jesus they mistakenly arrest judas instead. Judas and jesus have similar semblance. Is it possible? If judas was arrested and taken by mistake by the romans, is it not just to let judas suffer for his mistake? Yes he should be punish isnt he? Because of His betrayal of jesus. Now it is reasonable to hear judas to say, eli eli lama sabachtani, because for sure, god will not forsake jesus...it is also reasonable to say that judas was cursed, because in the law of moses, the one who is hung on a tree was cursed. Can jesus be cursed? A cursed messiah? For sure no...so it is more logical to save jesus not to be crucified. In the first place he dont want to be crucified....he prayed so hard, asking god to let this cup away from him. So to the jews it appears to them that it was jesus, but no, it was judas instead. So the mistakes was from the arresting roman soldier. Even the denial of peter can be reasonable because it was not jesus who was nailed on the cross.
At the end of the day religion is based on belief and no one can prove the Quran or Bible or any other book is the word of God if we don't believe this to be true. For example, it does not matter if you claim to have carbon dated manuscripts of the Quran from the time of Muhammad if you don't believe that Muhammad received the revelation from God. At the heart of Islam or Christianity is the belief in God and revelations from God. The main question is do you want to put you're trust in a religion founded by a person named Muhammad several hundred years after Lord Jesus Christ and this religion tells you that Lord Jesus Christ will come on judgement day (not Muhammad) to judge everyone including you OR do you want to believe in Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior. Actually, if you put this even more in perspective ... if it so happened that people who had never heard of trinity, nor did they believe in the man-God idea, then thinking that Jesus WAS crucified, was actually a absolutely clear proof that he was NOT God. Because God doesn't die. So, it might be argued that making it appear so that Jesus was crucified would, in that context, be a clear proof that he wasn't God.
@ the Quran isn’t proof of anything, just you thinking it’s the word of God doesn’t make it the word of God. Matthew and John were eye witnesses, Mark was a student of Peter who was an eye witness. That more proof than your Quran that came from one man hallucinating and admitting he was under the influence of something for over a year.
No you are wrong. You are ignoring the fact it actually says that Jesus was crucified died buried Nothing to actually do with dying for original sins of his children So you are saying the Apostles are lying about what happen Now that's a problem because its from God

Tafseer says that someone volunteered to take his place in return for jannah. He was made to resemble him and took his place. It was not God deceiving Christians. It was Him saving his beloved prophet so he could return and establish Allah's law and then die as all humans die. Jesus Christ's mission has not been completed yet.
Read John chapter 19. Firstly Jesus spoke to John his disciples from the cross to ask him to take care of Mary. John knew Jesus so it was Jesus on the cross. Secondly a Roman soldier thrust a spear into Jesus side ( lung) to ensure death. So he was dead on the cross. Lastly his body was prepared for burial and placed in the Tomb by Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. These men knew Jesus so it was his body that was in the tomb. The only people deceived are those like yourself who rely on a 7th century AD book for a 1st century event.
Ibn Kathir: Indeed, Allah's is the clearest wisdom, unequivocal proof and the most glorious authority. Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Ibn `Abbas said, "Just before Allah raised `Isa to the heavens, `Isa went to his companions, who were twelve inside the house. When he arrived, his hair was dripping water and he said, `There are those among you who will disbelieve in me twelve times after he had believed in me.' He then asked, `Who volunteers that his image appear as mine, and be killed in my place. He will be with me (in Paradise)' One of the youngest ones among them volunteered and `Isa asked him to sit down. `Isa again asked for a volunteer, and the young man kept volunteering and `Isa asking him to sit down. Then the young man volunteered again and `Isa said, `You will be that man,' and the resemblance of `Isa was cast over that man while `Isa ascended to heaven from a hole in the house. When the Jews came looking for `Isa, they found that young man and crucified him.
well if jesus didnt die on the cross, then christians would say that he is god as he is immortal, but if he died on the cross then god died for mankind sins. either way they would say he is god. if he is immortal he is god, if he died he is still god. even the immortal god can die? u just cant win. and PBUH
1. If Jesus did not die on the cross, then the Christian doctrine about the purpose of Jesus (the Son of God) coming to the world as a redeemer for the sins that exist in humans that began with Adam's sin (original sins) did not happen. Then the main foundation of the Christian doctrine collapsed (which is mentioned as a complete package). 2. If Jesus died on the cross, then this would contradict the teachings in the Bible (both the New Testament and the Old Testament) which state that God is immortal which means he is not subject to death. Just imagining God dying would be logically difficult where God with his attributes and with his power (al mighty, Omnipotent, Omniscient & Omnipresent). who created all humans, the earth, the universe and even the afterlife could be killed by his creation? So...yeah...that's how it is, wherever it is taken, it is still illogical and will lose

The Quran verse below highlights the promise from Allah to Jesus that his true followers will be elevated and remain dominant over those who reject faith until the Day of Judgment. Qur’an 3:55: ”[Mention] when Allah said, ‘O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.’” if Allah promised to make the real believers of Christ uppermost then why is the upper most belief in the world that Jesus is God?
They quote Quran Surat Al Saf chapter 61:14 and Surat Al Imran Chapter 3:55 and they say it is all started on Surat Al Saf Chapter 61:14 that the Christian are superior over the Muslims. This prove to you how ignorant they are about the Holy Quran because According to the chronological order of Suras Chapter 3 Al Imran was revealed before Chapter 61 Al Saf. Surah Al Umran is # 89 and Al Saf # 109 so Al Imran was revealed first so you can’t say that it is all started on Surah Al Saf chapter 61 Surah Al Saf Chapter 61:14 In Tafseer Al qurtubi Ibn Abbas said: God supported those who believed in the time of Jesus by making Muhammad prevail over the religion of the infidels. The uppermost religion is Islam. That’s the view of Qurtubi. Chapter 3:55 He quotes text out of context. The context starts from verse number 51: Christ says to his disciples, “Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him alone. This is the straight path.” Then the disciples respond to Jesus and say that they are Muslims who submit to Allah alone and that they declare and bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Jesus is the Messenger of Allah and believe in the Gospel Injeel that was revealed to Jesus. Allah said in verse 55 He will make the Muslim disciples and the Muslim followers of Jesus superior to those who disbelieved until the Day of Resurrection. Disciples of Jesus and his followers are Muslims who declared that they are Muslims and they submit to Allah alone not to the trinity. Actually, the Quran said that the disciples of Jesus are Muslims. (5:111) And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, "Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah]."
@ I think you’re missing it. It’s not saying Christian’s are superior to Muslims but rather the true message of Christianity will be superior over the false message of Christianity until the day of judgement. According to these passages(3:55 &61:14), Allah gave Christ’s followers the power to prevail over the disbelievers, and made them superior till the day of resurrection. Yet the ones that prevailed were the Apostles such as Paul, as well as his followers. This means that if the Quran is correct, then Paul’s message is the truth since it has become dominant and has prevailed over all other opposing messages. The passages do not say that Christ’s followers would only prevail from the time of Muhammad’s advent, but from the time that Christ was taken to God and unto the Day of Resurrection. & yes I agree, Qurtubi makes a blunder in order to try and duck tape this dilemma, but atleast he confirms Paul. I want you to focus on these 4 points: 1)The Quran records the domination of Christ’s true believers over the disbelievers. 2)This domination would continue till the Day of Resurrection. 3)apostles, like Paul, message dominated and became superior to all other opposing messages. 4)This implies that if the Quran is right then the Christians of today message must be correct.

Isaiah prophesied the Messiah more than any prophet. Virgin birth of IMMANUEL ( God with us) Isaiah 7:14. The titles of the child Isaiah 9:6-7. Isaiah 53 has 18 prophesies which Christ fulfilled when the suffering servant is punished for the iniquity of mankind and then rises to life again.
There is so much wrong with what this guy is saying that I don't even know where to start, but let me try. To begin with, the quran says that it is clear and explains every verse in detail, that it is a DETAILED explanation of all things, and here it is making this bold statement, i.e.. that Jesus didn't die but it was made to appear so, but gives no explanation as to what did happen! Jesus didn't die niether was He crucified? well what happened!? All those people watching didn't notice something was wrong? was there no one on the cross? was there someone who looked like Jesus? was Jesus on the cross but didn't die? what's going on here!? and this guy doesn't explain anything! Secondly, Jesus never said "Don't worship Me." He, in fact, accepted worship, and the reason He did is because He said that He and God are the same. Poor muslims, having to defend such a stupid religion, I feel sorry for them
He never once said he and God is the same. And he never accepted worship, you just don't know the greek, it's a type of kissing the hand they do out of respect, not worship of a diety. You know nothing, stop worshipping a corpse.
Are Muslims the only people on earth to claim Jesus never got unalived? Early Christian sects are the ones who differed among themselves to that event. Some argued Simon of Cyrene was the one put on the cross, others argued it was Judas. This is your own Christian history which shows us how ambiguous the whole event was. Jesus prayed in the garden of gethsemene to be saved. You believe he got put on the cross anyways and cried out of being forsaken by God. Imagine that, thinking God abandoned you, and that's the one you worship lol. Psalms 91:14-15 “Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” That prophecy fits literally the Islamic understanding of the event.

Back then, child marriage was a common thing. Just look at rebecca and isaac in the bible. I have also been hearing that they changed their ages for some reason..
It depends on the criteria. If the 10 years old female fit the criteria, then it's legal. 1. The consent of the biological parent, The Father and also the want to be bride. 2. The acceptance of the society 3. The maturity in both biological physical and mental for a female Whatever age the females are, if it's fits these criteria, then it's legal.

1) Simon of Cyrene was crucified
Or
2) Judas the traitor was crucified

Isaiah 53:10-11
“Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.”

Ibn Kathir:
Indeed, Allah's is the clearest wisdom, unequivocal proof and the most glorious authority. When the Jews came looking for `Isa, they found that young man and crucified him.

well if jesus didnt die on the cross, then christians would say that he is god as he is immortal, but if he died on the cross then god died for mankind sins. either way they would say he is god. if he is immortal he is god, if he died he is still god. even the immortal god can die? u just cant win. and PBUH
Its not that you cant win
Its that they will not accept the truth

They quote Quran Surat Al Saf chapter 61:14 and Surat Al Imran Chapter 3:55 and they say it is all started on Surat Al Saf Chapter 61:14 that the Christian are superior over the Muslims. This prove to you how ignorant they are about the Holy Quran because According to the chronological order of Suras Chapter 3 Al Imran was revealed before Chapter 61 Al Saf. Surah Al Umran is # 89 and Al Saf # 109 so Al Imran was revealed first so you can’t say that it is all started on Surah Al Saf chapter 61
Surah Al Saf Chapter 61:14 In Tafseer Al qurtubi Ibn Abbas said: God supported those who believed in the time of Jesus by making Muhammad prevail over the religion of the infidels.
(5:111) And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, "Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah]."
@ I think you’re missing it. It’s not saying Christian’s are superior to Muslims but rather the true message of Christianity will
be superior over the false message of Christianity until the day of judgement.
I want you to focus on these 4 points:
1)The Quran records the domination of Christ’s true believers over the disbelievers.
2)This domination would continue till the Day of Resurrection.
3)apostles, like Paul, message dominated and became superior to all other opposing messages.
4)This implies that if the Quran is right then the Christians of today message must be correct.

My brother/ sister At the end of the day religion is based on belief and no one can prove the Quran or Bible or any other book is the word of God if we don't believe this to be true.
Each person makes their own choice.
Please see the testimonies from our Muslim brothers and sisters who have seen dreams/ visions of our Lord Jesus Christ and have been saved by him. ua-cam.com/video/ie3Aasg8J8s/v-deo.html
It is sure that Lord Jesus Christ will come down on judgement day (no matter whether we like it or not) to judge all of us and I think both of us want to go to heaven. If you seek Lord Jesus Christ sincerely he will find you and save you. God bless you!
@ But what claims comes prior doesn’t mean it’s the right. Christianity wasn’t present at the time Adam, noah, moses (pbuthem all) but Islam shows more consistency with them at its core of oneness of God and now they are preserving it. The Quran is simply amazing. It doesn't deny history, but for sure it deny the beliefs of the Christians and Jewish people about the crucifixion.
They didn't crucified Jesus (belief of the Jewish and Christians) but the Jews did hang him (history)
It can only be called crucified when the person died. Well, Jesus didn't die at that momen, years later he died)
Allah gave Jesus and his mother refugee..Quran 23:50
But the gospels say that Christ did die. Read the gospel of John chapter 19. John was at the crucifixion and in verses 25-27 Jesus asked John who was Jesus disciple to take care of Mary his mother. In verses 34-35 the soldiers found Christ dead on the cross so to make sure he was dead they thrust a spear into his side ( lungs) and blood and water flowed out. Then in verses 38-42 theres a record of Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus preparing Jesus body for burial and laying him in the tomb. So JESUS WAS ON THE CROSS, JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS, JESUS BODY WAS PLACED IN THE TOMB. John was also one of the first to see the empty tomb and the risen Christ. Why would anyone rely on a book from 700 years after the events for information when there are eyewitness accounts.
@WHU63 "blood an̈d water flowed out" is a sign of life and not a sign of dead. In chapter 20 he was disguised...
Is this really someone (a god) who rose from the dead? Or was Jesus disguised because he was afraid that the Jews would discover that he was still alive?

3. The maturity in both biological physical and mental for a female
