i was not prepared ! ! long time veteran wolf and lost entire 5-pup litter, not even on Accurate. devastated but hopeful i learned at least as many lessons from it. super good luck to your run(s) o7

the meat chunks (and ungulates if you abandon them) don’t disintegrate they unfortunately get chewed on by other preds and birds and yea luckily, when the pups reach the stage after loaf at rendezvous they can survive a few bites from predators (but still don’t test this😅)
Ohh okay, good to know! That would explain the very persistent fox and coyotes. I've just never seen meat chunks disappear that fast, between the scavengers and my constantly hungry pups! Something tells me you're speaking from experience. 🥲It's such a relief though, considering how common coyote attacks are now.

I felt the same way. I was not ready for the saga to be out. I thought we had another YEAR!
Same honestly! I was so ready to settle down and take a nice break from the game, but nope. Now there's so much new and exciting stuff to explore!
Actually they released dev vlogs on their channel saying that the saga was planned to come out this year

From other videos I’ve seen, the pups during the growing quest can be scared out of hiding, and start to not be one shot kills

Also it's possible for them to get too big for their britches and try to help fight like a ferocious teddy bear
