I replaced my older and finally failed Aiper Smart, which was a corded unit. Worked really well for the 7 years I owned it. I got the Aiper Seagull Pro BUT I bought it used for $150 instead of the $700ish and it came with 2 replacement batteries. So, it's running, doing a fairly decent job and for $150 I can't complain. And if the battery fails I have replacements and, fortunately, I am a do it yourself yuy so I am sure I can do a battery swap. Cheers and nice review.
@@johnnysalinas7082 I am lucky enough to have gotten a second unit where the wheels don't spin, not sure why as both wheel drive motors should not have gone bad, could be the controller board, but at least I have a battery on that unit that seems to hold a charge so I have a backup. I would not buy from Aiper, fortunately I have gotten great deals on used ones. But brand new at those prices NO WAY. My unit that I bought used is still under the 2 year warranty but they ONLY honor the warranty to the original purchaser. Bad business model as people buy houses with pools and if the Aiper breaks but is still under warranty they do not cover it. And they sell NO replacement parts. They do send a price list for a rebuilt at $400 guaranteed for 3 months or $80 off a new unit. I would NOT buy from them.
Very helpful review, thank you. Any plans to review the the new Aiper Scuba N1 Ultra Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner, as it would be great to hear your finding and view. Maybe you could even do a comparison with the Dolphin Liberty 400 cordless pool clearer…
Hey Justin thanks for the awesome videos! I love them, What’s your take on the dolphin S300? The people at my pool store say it’s amazing, how does it compare to the premier of sigma? Thanks
The S300 is a good unit, but it cannot compare to the ProLine's Premier or Sigma. Both of these units have the longer 3 year warranty compared to the S300's 2 year warranty. The Premier and Sigma both have commercial grade motors that produce 4500 GPH vs 4000 GPH on the S300 - the performance difference is undeniable between the two. You get a lot more (including a Leaf Bag on the Premier) on these two ProLine robots than the S300. There are a few other big differences as well (make sure to check out my Dolphin ProLine video!). So if you were making a decision, I would go with Dolphin Sigma or Premier over the S300 any day of the week.
I have an older model, Aiper Smart and it has a top motor powered fan blade that pushes water pressure to give it great gripping so it does climb the water line perfectly. It also has a sponge type material instead of that brush. HOWEVER, it just broke this past weekend. I suspect a computer board either the one in the unit or the one in the wired control panel, this was not the cordless. First I notice it would not start, then the next day it did start but would not go into reverse so it kept getting stuck. I pressed off and on and then it was ok for a couple days, Then the that top motor powered fan blade would not shut off, it used to shut off to go up the wall and then shut off when it went into reverse. So, then it would keep the top fan on and not reverse and would be at the top water line constantly. And a couple days ago it stopped. Bummer because this unit was really great. Nice video.
The only other decent one I have tested is the Dolphin Liberty 200. I am still not a huge fan of the battery units, as they are severely underpowered and lack several top features, but they can still get the job done if you're looking for a cordless pool robot! Check it out here: amzn.to/3ODGlV4
I purchased this robot $799.99. 3 month later battery is not charging, customer service is the worst. No phone line to call only email support and 3 days waiting a reply and no answer.
My Aiper is completely broken, bought in Feb 2023. Warranty for 2 years according to their website. BUT only for the original purchaser. So, if you buy someone's house and they have a pool and the Aiper breaks, NOPE, they don't cover it. So a $799 pool vacuum is broken and you can be sure the next vacuum will NOT be an Aiper. NO WAY!!!!
unfortunately I see your review now after having bought the unit, I can confirm it doesn't work at all with cloudy waters. Do you think it is possible to add some additional filter to work with cloudy waters?
was waiting so long, now aiper was available in my country but i agree cordless are cool but the power are massive drawback, btw what do you think about Dolphin X30?
Mine worked for about three weeks. I initiated a report with them and they agreed to replace the unit. I shipped it back and now they are saying they are out of stock and I have to wait another 6 weeks. What they should do is have one of their retailers ship me one. I’m disappointed that they are taking weeks to fix something that should have already been done
You are very honest to cancel my thought of buying it. thanks
Same here

Thankyou for saving me $900👌
The comments very helpful but little confused about price point comment as it 2 to 3 x cheaper

How can you compare a cord cleaner with cordless?
Thoughts about the seagull pro compared to a similarly priced dolphin unit like the e20?

@@ThePoolNerdsadly I couldn't find the Dolphin Sigma in Europe 🌍
What other dolphin do you suggest for an 18 x 32 Inground vinyl pool?

Can you recommend a cordless pool vacuum cleaner ? For an in-ground genuite pool

Should we really expect $1200 features from a $600 unit?
At least an honest review of this robot! So many paid reviews!
Bought one, tried it. Wireless was great but other than that, crappy. Died 3 weeks after I got it.
Just cancelled my order.
Pansy excuse. It’s 25 pounds
This is a worthless pool cleaner. Doesn't clean the walls can't even get up. Poorly cleans the bottom
Do not buy this IT WILL BREAK AND. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST
