Hello. thanks for the video. I bought the Scuba S1 and I can say that it works great. I would like to ask you what is the difference in height from the floor of the Seagull Pro compared to the Scuba S1. Unfortunately my Scuba S1 can't walk, like the tracks are slipping, but it's not the robot's fault but the bottom of my pool. Thank you
Not that I've seen or expect. A battery in such a device should never been replaceable by a consumer. There's too much risk of people getting hurt if not done correctly. However I'm sure you could order or find on the secondary market things like the power supply and basket.
Ok. Great side-by-side comparison. For the dial, the dial on Seagull Pro is seizing up because of hard water. You can spread isopropyl alcohol around the perimeter of the dial up where there is a gap between the outer ring that you turn and the indicator. After applying the alcohol turn the dial making sure to get the alcohol spread out all around the mode selector. Wait a few minutes to let the alcohol evaporate and do the same thing with some WD-40. If I can figure out how to take the ring off the switch without doing a complete tear down I’ll let you know. The navigation program for the Seagull Pro is very basic and it’s all based on how it lands in the pool. Be ready for some annoying issues if you have a rectangular pool. If it lands on the floor in an angle be ready for it to follow a very inefficient zigzag pattern. This is a great video.
Btw, don’t test these in a tub. It won’t work. I bought another Seagull Pro for parts because the seller said he tested it in a bathroom tub and it didn’t work so he sold it for cheap. Guess what? It worked great in my pool.
The dial seizing is the same issue I’m having with the Seagull Pro being used in a saltwater pool. It’s going back to Aiper for warranty replacement due to a battery drain issue. I’m very happy with their support though.
@RonGabriel The fact that Aiper has a two year manufacturer warranty tells me that the Seagull Pro is not a product that achieved stability during design and development which explains why they already have a Lite version. Make sure that what you get back is not a used return. I've been seeing threads about that, which some of them were on the BBB site. BTW, Aiper isn't accredited by the BBB. Good luck and I hope they do the right thing with your return.
Just an fyi but in 2 months or so a floating solar panel will become available for the scuba s1 and s1 pro, you can see it on there site now but is kinda jard to find
The Scuba S1 does better on steps. I don't have sun shelf but I would think the S1 would also do better on that. If your solar cover floats on the water line, I would not use either one in wall or auto mode as it would hit the solar cover. I did another video after I got to use the S1 for some time if you want to check out that video - ua-cam.com/video/G-OxB4T6gTA/v-deo.html
The fine filter baskets on S1 and the Seagul Pro are 180μm. If you want an ultra fine filter of 3μm, consider the Aiper S1 Pro - ua-cam.com/video/lXPFI7ovNMk/v-deo.htmlsi=y1ZY2MZKq7coAUJW

Hi. Are there any spare parts available e.g. replacement battery if necessary?

Yes, I saw it at CES 2024.
Great review, I was confused which one to get. Do these jump up to clean sun shelfs and steps? Also do they work ok under a solar cover?

You mentioned the new s1 cleaning for 45 minutes while you're away from home. So it's ok to leave them in the water until it needs charging?
Does either one have fine mesh filter

Um, there's no "R" in ScubA.
