Mr. Steve, this is the original Saturnboy101 from last year who commented on some of your videos. I ended up in bkk but one of these days I might have to bring some grass out your way so we can smoke while watching the sunset 💪
@@sidequestlifebam Everybody's welcome on Turtle Beach! We can sit and you can tell me why, with all Thailand has to offer, you chose to live in Bangkok. Ick.
yeah studio condos can be somewhat cramped ..1 bedroom condos are perfect if u are 1 or 2 ppl..and they cost about the same..and are often cheaper electrical because u only aircon the bedroom
Been past this building a few times. Its defiantly quite far out but the building looks fairly modern and clean and the fact you are 100 paces from the BTS is a big win. You can get something in On Nut for a bit more money but its a 20 min walk to the BTS. I would rather be on the BTS in 2 min and then spend 10 min in the AC of the train and get off at On Nut and go into the Mall than have to walk 20-30 min to the Mall. If you see what I mean.
@@sidequestlifebam Exactly. I would rather be 3-4 stops further out of town but have the BTS directly outside the condo than 3-4 stops closer to the city but a 20 min walk in the heat to the BTS!
Nice video! I do have a few questions for you about the condo. 1. Not sure if you speak the Language, but living on the outskirts where you are....would living there be difficult for someone who only spoke English? 2. Would it be possible to film some of the larger units? 3. How did you find this condo? Did you go thru an Agent? 4. I was a bit confused on the Condo's location relative to the BTS Station. Maybe you could do a video showing you walking real-time from your unit to the BTS. 5. How much is the gym that requires a paid membership? Again, great video, and thanks for sharing!!
ua-cam.com/users/shortszZ8_1tyEovs?feature=share Here is a clip from outside my condo building. The BTS is maybe a 1 minute walk. You have to take the stairs or elevator to the bts so that's the most time consuming part. The paid gym is about 25 USD per month. I used DDProperty to get this unit and yes I was in contact with the agent who was listed for this unit. I don't speak the language. I use Google translate for almost everything and I get by just fine. The community around here has developed the fastest way I've seen to use Google translate compared to other countries.
@@sidequestlifebam Awesome Brother, and thanks for that info! And glad to hear that you are able to get by without speaking fluent Thai, because I wanted to life on the outskirts of the city, but was concerned about the whole language thing. One other question....are on a short-term lease? If this is the case, then maybe I might look into doing something similar when I initially get there, and then see how it goes....although I would definitely still like to have a larger unit. So thanks again for your feedback!!
I have a one year lease which ends in September. Use Airbnb for short term leases. It'll be hard to find short term rentals as consistently as 1 year contracts
I haven't seen any for the same price AND quality right next to a BTS station. If it's more than 10 minutes away from a BTS that means you want to use a car or bike. But I only use the trains in bkk. So this is the best value and quality for price when considering the distance to a BTS station
We have vastly different definitions of the word "luxury."

for two buck fiddy this is great place, im in usa paying 1500 for much worse 🙂, one day i will be in thailand, one day....
Bro I was paying 1400 for a garbage studio in Greeley, Colorado. I know the pain. Just keep that grind up bro and I'll see you out here 💪
Do you get a car parking space included?
Parking is extra but not that much
To get that price do you have to get a 1 year contract?
I actually paid $2700 upfront cash in thb for the year. Yes, one year contract. But worth it, if you can afford it.
honestly i think there are better for the same price or maybe 1-2k more. But thanks for the video :)
