- Come on a road trip through the alps of Switzerland! In October of 2021, I traveled on a 3 week Europe trip with my husband and four of my best friends. We went hiking almost every day, ate tons of croissants and pizza, and took thousands of photos. This is part 1 of that adventure 😊

Hey! I’m Renee, and thanks for watching my first ever vlog. I've been a full-time travel photographer and blogger for a little over 5 years now. A lot of people know me as the "national parks girl" because in 2017 I lived in a van and travel to all the US national parks with my husband, Matthew. I wrote a book about it - 'Roaming America: Exploring All the National Parks'. These days I live in Seattle and continue to get out on as many adventures as possible. This channel is all about my travels and outdoor adventures, including hiking, backpacking, and road trips in my camper van. I'm stoked to have you here!

Lovely shots! Such an epic landscape! Have you been there in September or October? I would love to visit the alps and Dolomites this fall but I’m unsure about the time to go there to get these awesome fall colors. :)
For autumn colors you will want to visit in October! Usually mid-late October is best but it does change year to year. September is a good month to visit for hiking but the autumn colors won't have peaked yet, FYI 😊
