Pretty sure EXO is the only one taking this serious. I haven't seen Mark from CAF ever mention a bass build for this.
This is the most amount of work in one episode I've ever seen you do to the bass van... And it was just so you could GET RID OF IT

Drilling a hole into carpet tip: use your soldering iron with an old tip to melt a divot in the screw location. Follow up by shaping the hot mess with a flattening tool or whatever form you’re after.

One more carpeting tip: tame the wild fibres with a heat gun. Quickly wave the heat over the carpet to smooth out the fibres to a uniform flattened appearance. Not too long in one area as you can most likely guess what can happen.
Onwards and upwards, Doug! I'll be here watching, laughing my ass off while also learning stuff whether you complete your project cars or not 🤝 You're a true inspiration!

The amount of work you have done to the van is mind blowing! Engine repairs, alarm, removing door handles, repairing hole in the roof, making the cage for bass, door panels, ipad dash kit, etc etc etc! Someone will get a 75% done bass van with your signature on it! Kinda sad to see it go, it would have been one for the history books on the cars you have fondled over the years!
That said, can't wait for the next shit box you will turn in to a golden goose! Keep the episodes coming!

I've been a subscriber of the ol soundman since Amplified was in the old shop and you guys were doing installs on peoples cars. It was right when you went from the original shop then moved to the last shop your dad's company was in. Just like back then I subscribed because you and your guys were funny as hell and had a great working relationship that showed on camera. Things have changed for sure, but I still watch because your humor is refreshing and your "advice" is solid. Unlike your prior business plan, that shit was liquid. Not solid at all... Anyway! Doesn't matter what cars or projects you have I watch because of you Doug and I'd say most of us do the same so do what you gotta do and I know Ill still be a loyal soundman fan!!!

I was thinking about you this afternoon as I was driving from San Diego to Monterey and passing by the Santa Clarita highway 5 exit. I for one am glad you got rid of this project. You never seemed "into it" like your others. Almost forced. I'm looking forward to a new intro to your vids without the van dash joke. I've watched ALL your vids. The vids from your dad's shop are epic. A great way to document your life journey. Keep it up!

I’ve got that nvx 5 channel in my car. Super stoked with it the thing shreds 🤙
I had it installed for about six months, and you're right, it made a shit-ton of power! It wasn't the cleanest, but far from bad.
Unfortunately the sub channel stopped working on mine so I had to RMA the thing. NVX took care of me, and sent me a new (not refurbished) amp. I didn't want to wait and couldn't go without music for that long so I bought a Kenwood XR901-5. Fits under my seat better, cleaner power, and still slams.
With all that said, I would not hesitate to order any NVX product in the future.

I got too excited and started watching the video, but something felt off. I ran to the bathroom, sat on the toilet and suddenly it all felt right again.
EXO is a far more advanced turd polisher than Doug is. I thought the Soundman channel would have more audio then a JL 8 box build once every 10 months
Beware, there is more bondo in those backdoors than a Maico body shop.
