Louie learns to "load-up" while Geno works on his down-stay. How I use my voice to help each dog. Real world-dog training by deciding last minute to work on a down-stay because the "load-up" is not about Geno, so an extra challenge for he and I to enforce his downstay while being excited toward Louie AND using food cause Geno is CRAZY for snacks. I have to use excited tone for Louie and more calm for Geno. Pay attention to that in this video - it helps the specific dog in it's task.

@@leadoffleashk9training ive raised border collies my whole life and will never have another breed. they are so dang smart. aussies as well. from my personal experience, female bc's are usually smarter than the males. in fact, female bc runts 9 times out of 10 turn out to be the smartest dog in the litter. i talked to another bc breeder who shares the same opinion. he said theres approx a 7 year waiting list on female runts.
