Maaaaaan! I wish my knees/spine weren’t so done, been getting the skating urge for awhile now. But since I gave my setup away to my cousin to have a decent board to start with, I can’t just mask up n go out. Even if I did have my skate, I’m a dad now with very limited time to go skating. But i always smile and watch when I see kids around the way skating a set of stairs or a curb, brings back memories . And seeing people bite it brings back sense memories of PAIN! 😂🥺🤘🏼😜
Try getting your kid into skating, and switch to surfskate with old-school deck, you can still cruise around and transition bowls. At 40 yr, I gave up tricks and jumps a long time ago, had acl/meniscus surgery in 2022, with a family I can't afford more injuries. The surfskate with a healthy lifestyle can keep you going.

Actually there is another skatepark just like the one is sweden but almost but not fun as sweden but its kinda close its called: Malaysia Putrajaya Challenge Park.
Only one half of the dave Armstrong park in Louisville was torn down to make way for the Abraham Lincoln bridge in 2015 they needed the space for the flyaway ramps. They then rebuilt the section adjacent on the property. Unfortunately that park has gone to hell. The city dont pick up trash and every square inch is covered in graffiti broken glass. Not to mention crime in the area has gotten out of control. People being mugged and carjacked. Thugs packing guns. One guy was shot and killed there this summer. The park was opened 24 hours since it first opened but now they closed at 11pm because of all the crime. Still a great park just got to watch your back when you go
Regarding Venice skatepark, do not tag. Local Dogtown legend Jesse Martinez voluntarily cleans the park daily without any funding. It’s disrespectful to even suggest that. Nobody wants to see your misspelled irrelevant Doo Doo tags. Plus Jesse “the Mess” Martinez might regulate your ass real quick. You have been warned.

That 1st park #15 looks quite a bit larger than 3000 square feet. My local skatepark is 45,000 sq ft and it's around the same size give or take.
