Amazing truck camper. Making me re-think B-Van builds!
Amazing camper. Base MSRP is $89.9k--not horrendous when you factor in the discounted actual sales price, BUT then I'd still need a $90k truck to slide it into. Thanks for featuring it. Wasn't on my radar, but now I plan on seeing one in person before I purchase my class B van.
I'm glad you've enjoyed this walk thru, I fell in love with it, but yeah, it means that i have to change my vehicle in order to own one of these... I love the idea of carrying it anywhere and then lowering it to the ground, detach the car and roaming freely
$69k gets you a F350 Lariat dually. Add on the 920 discounted at say another $69k .. much better deal than a B-van + no tax or registration on the truck camper (shop in the right state!)
Awesome 👏
Thanks for your comment 😊
not bad 9 out of 10
Where are the 110 🔌 plugs, I saw the ones on the floor, I don't cook on the floor !!??
It's there, to the left of the sink, under the Aldi heat controller
I’d be interested in buying a new Cirrus 920 of the bathroom sink was removed.
I think it's doable... you can always ask nucamp, they're very good in accommodating customer needs
❤
I have two questions. How big is the bed and what’s the overall height of the inside of the camper?
The bed is a queen size (81x59), and the interior of the cabin is 6'6"
Beautiful! ...but of course any truck that can safely carry it will be ruinously expensive to fuel. I like it a lot though. Thanks
I'm glad you've enjoyed it, thanks for your comment 😀
Generally my camper takes my truck from 19L/100km to 23L/100km. Not much increase , my tow behind trailer is 25L/100km. Ram 3500
What happened to the outside of the camper?
The major changes in the design are limited to the interior, the outside storage space, the shorepower connection port etc are the same as previous camper
The cabinet doors and drawers don't seem to fit flush, if that's the demo model, I'd hate to see the production units.
It's the prototype, there are a lot of minor issues that they'll perfect for production, nuCamp always deliver high quality products
Overpriced, over wide at 6’4”, and overweight at 4400 lbs dry weight with no slides. 400 lbs of water and gear in all of that wide space makes it a dually only camper.
That's true... it's not for the average trucks out there, you'd need a beast to enjoy this camper
Now if the Fridge was at least a 2-Way (AC and LPG).....
Stove and Oven - LPG
Heating - LPG
and lastly, upgrade the Toilet from Plastic to Porcelain - and the Bathroom sink could be taken out, as it is not really functional due to the position it is located within. REMOVE the Bathroom Sink or make it an option.
BINGO - it would be PERFECT then for OFF-Grid/Dry-Docking then!
Solar would be nice for some of the Other Features to function off of... i.e. TV, Charging, Lights, etc.... again, OFF-Grid/Dry-Docking abilities...
It was a prototype at the Hershey RV Show, I know for fact that nuCamp does listen to all input from viewers, and would definetely adjust things to make it better. Thank you for the comments...
It has a convenience package that puts 920 watts of solar on the roof a long with some other things.
Thank you for your comment
The Cirrus 920 is ruined by the amateurish presentation and worse by the crowded toilet and sink arrangement.
Don't forget that it's a rig sitting on top of a truck bed
