If only this had the connectivity on the back like the Samplepad Pro. Would love one of these with an external hi-hat, kick and cymbals. Don't really need all the pads of the Samplepad Pro.
I’m trying to decide if I should buy this or the Roland SPD-1 WAV. Pad for my Roland TD-4KPX2 folding compact travel kit. I upgraded the TD-4 module to a TD-17, (2) KT-10 kick trigger pedals instead of the kick pad on drum rack, FD-9 Hihat controller, CY-12crash,CY-12Ride, upgraded crash/ride/hihat hardware,pdx-8 snare, future plans of adding 2 BT-1 bar triggers from TD-17 aux trigger inputs. The kit is great for gigs,rehearsal,writing sessions!!!! I do not have to drive my van everywhere to play, I can fit everything into Uber/taxi back seat or trunk,then do my entire gear load in/out in 1 trip by myself. Setup/tear down is 10-15 mins. I have duffel bag with all my sticks, cables, small 4 input audio mixer, 2i/o audio interface, direct box,iPad mini, small 4 outlet power strip, headphones/IEM’s, I use Nike shoe box for my FD-9/KT-10 pedals. I’m considering buying the KT-9 kick pedal instead of my KT-10 b/c it’s much lighter and still reliable. Kit also option of using VST sounds with laptop for best drum sound quality. It’s so nice leaving my full drum kit at home In studio and not having to drive everywhere. Best part of taking taxi Uber I can have a few drinks w/o having to worry about dui. I don’t drink before or during gigs, after it’s nice to have 1 or 2 after to relax and network/mingle

Could you please explain how the additional 99 kits with the SD card works? Does every time you save one it creates kit 11, 12 and so on. I know this video was posted a while back but hoping someone might know the answer. Thanks

Mano my pad aless sample 4 is stealing the other sound from the other pad when I play on a pad the other sound comes together I don't know what it was to be in a single pad but it's not staying you know how I can format factory to see becomes normal .....
Based on my experience with other pads, the samples can also be songs. I think it lets you layer sounds so the second sound can be a sampled click/loop.
Hi! So the 4 pads added to the 2 triggers would be 6 sounds in total that could be triggered from the instrument at the same time? or do the triggers have to be sounds assigned to the hit pads?
i am sorry....i read the reviews before i got here; stuff about noise in the outputs, pads failing.. but i still really think this could be a good unit, ( usually when something is smaller, it's tougher ... the "build like a brick S@%# house" saying ) so i guess i just hope they have the design, and production, issues sorted, and jump.....it will probably be better than my plastic KTMP-1
it Flunks, for not having a kick trigger and hat input .... that would be as much as a cocktail kit drummer has ... like people are not drummers if they don't have at least a five piece?..No. ok so it looks like a Y-cable could get a guy out to a kick and closed hat ... so i am looking at it.
MONO wave files?!? Why the stereo output, then? Roland ONE WAV PAD can play stereo files along with a stereo click track, separate outs and everything.
rubbish review. Lots of waffle and no real playing of it.. That's what I want to know. facts are good but at least half should be playing it.. and using the sample loop stuff would be great.. talking about it doesn't help, want to know what its actually like.

I tried a normal Y Cable (1 stereo/2mono male) and it works perfectly (the pads were Kt10 and bt1)!

Warning: noisy outputs! make sure you test it before you buy it I had to return 2 units and finally got a refund...

why are you even using bluetooth?
The USB port allows to send midi data.
