Usually brakes are extremely hot, so probably is that often

because the disks reach 800°C while braking and sometimes rubber taken on track burns when the car is stopped and the disks are not cooled.

Wow..Watch a lot of these WEC races but I'd not seen them ignore burning discs, swap wheels and send it flamin away lol. I understand how/why they can, or rather why they dont bother to try to put it out ....but
damn, thats no joke! Love what they've done with the WEC so far..fingers crossed.
Sports cars this year has been pretty killer, next year looks to be even better.........
