Let me know what steelhead videos you want to see so you can be entered in the drawing!
Gotta get that hyperviz in the bad!!
Super helpful video to know what to gear up for success. I look forward to the opportunity to steelhead fish soon.
Thanks for watching!!
Been watching your videos for years. They are very informative and I appreciate the time and effort you have in producing the videos for your viewers.
@@autrybishop8005 thank you for the support and for watching! God has blessed me to share and help others out as I was helped early on. I can’t wait for what’s ahead this season
I love your vids. They have helped me get into winter steelhead fishing. I would love to see a multi river video
So glad to hear they have been helpful! I like the idea of a multi river search mission
First year not hooked up yet would love a video on harbor fishing
Thanks for watching! I can definitely do some of that in the near future as well
Amazing in depth videos. Your videos never fail to get me excited to get back out there again. FISH ON!!!
So appreciate the support man! Thank you for watching
Good info. This helps in getting ideas of where to start. Now, I just have to find a place with fish.
Finding the fish is always part of the fun/adventure in steelhead Fishing. Lots more ahead!
Thanks for another great video! Would love to see you go to a new spot and explain why you're using a certain method/ color etc based on the conditions of weather, water etc
I like the idea of the thought process breakdown. Thanks!!
I would like to see you make more videos on gear reviews.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm always looking for new gear to test and review. Can definitely showcase some more of those along with some unboxing videos
Awesome video. It'd be cool too see you looking for a good steelhead hole in a new river system.
Appreciate you watching and the video idea! Will work on that!
I would love to see a video of you actually fishing the rivers so I can get an idea of what too look for when fishing.
Definitely one I’m working on! Trying to do a mix of the instructional as well as the fishing action too. Thanks for watching and the idea!
Would love to see how you approach a new spot or river, and break down your thoughts!
Absolutely! Thanks for watching and the support! Please do share if you can!
Do a video on on the water/bank n how to read water for steelhead fishing success
Thanks for watching and the video idea! I can definitely work on this one here soon.
Would be cool to see you fish for steelhead in the desert on the east side of WA!
Would love to do that!! I’ll have to see about getting over there here soon! Thanks for watching and the support!
Your videos are so helpful and thorough. Thank you for everything you do! I'd Like to see a video about what kind of water is best to fish each different technique. PS. We have to get you a G. Loomis rod!
@@Fishing_Rod_Engineer thank you for the kind words and support! It is about that time of year to bust out the 1141. Definitely one of my favorites for bead fishing. Wait till you see what is ahead! And would be happy to do that video too
Wow you carry a lot of fishing heat there, great video by the way. Can you make a video on how to fish a spoon properly 👍
@@fdl362 appreciate you watching! I can definitely work on one! Thanks again!
If you can make a video on how to read river for steelhead. Would be great!
Thank you for watching and the idea I’ll work on that one here next!
Us fishing at our spot showing the different kind of water to look for for each style. Even show a little of the centerpin
I can definitely work on some of that soon! Thank you for watching
A video of you showing us first hand using these on the water would be dope like the yakima kit video. Unless I missed it and you already uploaded it🤔 fish on!
I have something coming soon for just that :). Thanks for watching and the support!
@HolyMolyOutdoors can't wait to see it
Would like to see a video on who actually has the best returns for this year so I can go and actually catch one. Lol love the videos keep them coming.
Lol!! I would love to know that too. Haha all kidding aside it’s going to be interesting how it plays out with returns as Salmon blew numbers out of the water, I’m only hoping steelhead show up decent
@ i’m keeping my fingers crossed. Trying to cross my toes too but it’s kind of difficult.
I'd like to see you catch a couple steelhead using a couple different presentations. Maybe show us how you dissect the river and why you choose the presentations for that section of the river.
Great idea! Thank you I’ll definitely work on that here in the next few weeks
How about how you choose what to throw first. your hardware or jig/worm rod.
Great idea! For me I start with confidence in the float rod but also so that I can finesse out a fish before grabbing the flash and get the whole jazzed up. But this would also depend on the run too
Hello, I'd love to see a video of you doing a contest between the worm, bead, and jig to find out which presentation catches the most steelhead. Thanks 😊! Big fan
Love the idea! Thank you for watching and the support! I’ll definitely plan a special trip to do this one!
@@HolyMolyOutdoorsspin vs pin 😂
Heading out on my first ever steelhead-specific exploration trip tomorrow. I don't expect to catch anything, but I'm sure I'll learn a lot of valuable information!
That’s awesome! Hope you have a great time, can’t wait to see the report! Thanks for watching!
Beads beads beads and some jigs 😅
@@stuckonthebank yup I have a jig rod rigged up and tied a bunch of corky +yarn and bead leaders for drift fishing, and have a third rod with a small spinner if the water is irresistibly spinner-y.
I think the hooks I just had lying around are a little too big/heavy for proper drifting. But I'll get some smaller ones.
@Graceclaw i use owner size 2 mosquito hooks for bead fishing sometimes size 1.
Great content. Please show your thought process regarding the types of water your fishing. Before rapids, after rapids, frog water and speeds of water that is best fished and methods.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching and the support! Please do share if you can!
Always do@@HolyMolyOutdoors
Once again, thank you for a great video.
So appreciate the support! Glad you liked the video.
I’m bummed they just closed the nooksack down yesterday for steelhead I was going to go Friday. Guess I’ll go Skagit. Hey go catch one out the skagit? Thanks for the videos they are fun. I also like watching the backyard from other brothers eyes thank you.
Thank you for watching and the support! Never know, definitely some b-runs still around
Skagit is not open for steelhead, but is open for coho until the 31st.
Beautiful summer run!
@@adamnoga-styron7882 thanks man!!
Hello, I would like see a video on how to catch a steelhead using 10,12,0r 14mm soft beads. Please use centering reel and rod. Thanks
Thanks for the video idea! I'll see about doing a video on beads!
Well hello again Holly Molly, I have been trying to catch a steelhead in rivers. I haven’t had any luck. I have been using my center pin reel and soft beads. I even try using jig head under a floating.
I wanna see you go up to the legendary quantity salmon river spot🙂
Now that would be fun. Maybe if I can swing a trip after the new year
@ yeah 👍🏻
Would love to know target areas for steelhead.
Absolutely can do that! Thank you for watching
How you choose spots to bank fish for winter steelies.
Thank you for watching! I have a good idea for breakdown of spot choices
I want to see pier or surf steelhead fishing videos
I can definitely do some saltwater steelhead fishing here soon!
I know it's probably a long drive for you but I would like to see Cowlitz River videos
@@lucasjedwards some of my favorite fishing was on the cowlitz a-run. With that gone I usually go feb-March. But definitely can do that!
Excellent! Do you also center pin as well,? If so, do you carry the same gear? Also, what is your setup? Thank you
I do centerpin! Still learning it to be more efficient but it’s fun. I can definitely do a breakdown for that one!
Do you prefer using large or small soft beads?
I seem to always go back to my confidence at 10mm. Now that’s under normal conditions. I’ll bump to 12mm in a little higher water. Have not done much 14-16mm yet but do have a 14mm mold now
Bobbers Down Baby! I'd love to see you do a steelhead video where you strike out on 3 fish with 3 different fishing techniques ie. spinners, float, and spoons?
I can definitely work on that, thanks for the idea! Appreciate you watching and the support!
@@HolyMolyOutdoors These videos are so helpful in this first year of fishing, hoping to catch my first steelhead this weekend. and hopefully clinch that draw of yours!
@ so glad to hear they are helping! Let me know honestly if there are others that would help too
Fish on! Id like to see a video where you catch a steely.on a wacky rigged senko!
Definitely has to be a pink one haha! I can see about trying
@ I got one last year on a black and blue sparkle!
@ heck yeah!
One on catching steelies, yet keeping cutts from stealing the bait first.
Yeah those tricky buggers do get in the way at times. Thanks for watching and the support
Wicked lures for sure
They're a fun way to target winter steelhead! Definitely can do that!
Tying jigs and more float fishing
I have a good one for this! Thanks for watching and the support!
@HolyMolyOutdoors you bet, thanks for the videos been watching you for a couple years. Fish on!!!
@ greatly appreciate the support!!
Love your videos and the occasional Christ comments.
I was shocked to see your recommendation for 40-60 lb braid for you float rod. Why?
I'd like to see an up to date report on Saltwater Steelies on Whidbey Island. My impression is its pretty much ended, like the 100,000 cast fish now.
Thank you for watching and the support! Have to give God the credit, it’s all to glorify him at the end of the day.
The large size line is actually to help with the floatation more than the need for the strength. Really helps with long line mends.
Yes definitely becoming much more difficult to find a fish period. Thanks for watching and the support !
Spinner/spoon fishing for stealhead
@@danielgerman4459 one of my favorite ways! Definitely will do that one
You could go to a river and break down where to fish in it.
Will try to do that here soon! Thank you!
