➡️➡️ Part 2 • Quilted/Stitched Diamo... ⬅️⬅️
This first part video shows a practical method to mark/draw diamonds on vinyl or
leather material. Upholsterers do it in different ways. There is no special general rule for it. As shown, different size of diamonds can be drawn to our own or customers' taste.
As we can see, the two sample of diamonds will be quilted on foam (medium density) 1/4" thick. It is important to have a stiff fabric as a backing to hold and give shape to quilted diamonds. A muslim cloth is useful as backing.
In conclusion three materials are needed: vinyl or leather on top, foam in the middle, and muslim cloth as backing on reverse side.
I hope you find this video useful!

Chechaflo, Thank you again. Their may be many who are not familiar who may have a hard time with metric measurements as Drs and other use it, even when sewing. An inch in metric is 25.4mm long. Move the decimal point one space to the left, and you see 2.5cm. To keep it simple, round the 0.4mm down & forget about it!
So every 2.5 centimeters is one inch. I hope this help the many or few that watch this wonderful channel as those in pain, accident victims or veterans can find a comfortable way to sit and sew leather and create something from nothing. Try to take a class if able as life changes, you can still be productive and have that pride you need to fill your life. Men, we know what purpose means, give it a try if this looks rewarding. Because it is!!!
Be it the seats and door panels in a 68 GTO or that old truck you remember your grandpa taught you to drive in. Go for it buddy, and gals! Cechaflo may speak to you in a way that makes you proud! Take that feeling and fill your life with “That Person” in your area who your name comes up, “He is Good” Fill you life.
Me, I am a guy who has had back surgeries and can walk to my mail box after 4 decades of fixing other peoples cars. Yes, retired against my will but fitting the pain! It is not fun, but creating takes practice as I was a certified ASE Master tech since 78. But have a real hard time changing the oil & filter on my wife’s newer Malibu. Get car! She looks good in it and has never had anything this nice. I may have 4 tool boxes, but no vehicle to drive! Irony? You bet. But I have two sewing machines and a desire to get better, I watch every detail Cechaflo shows on video. Run with it!!!! You will be happy. DK, ASE master tech since 78. God bless and try as hard work pays off! Veterans, organizations may help, I don’t know but please try!
Note: Sorry for mis-spelled words. My older cell changes words especially technical terms and words. Hope you understand, as I don’t take the time to catch all wrong words and change them.
@@deankay4434 No worries, Dean. The message is clearly understandable, thanks. My best wishes for you!

Your videos are the best ever.
What do you use to mark your lines with?
Found the link. Thank you.
It is called silver pen leather marker (Amazon, Ebay, Alibaba, etc.). Benzine, white spirits (white gasoline) are useful to erase the marks.

What kind of pencil/pen do you use to mark the lines that you see along because using chalk can cause crooked lines at times.

@@Cechaflo muchas Gracias y Muchas Bendiciones
🇹🇷👏👏👍
