That's because console is their money maker and the player's are easily parted with their money. Everything is better on pc.

Listen, I don't love the airstrike mechanic being on Dutch cruisers (they literally have never had any kind of naval support aircraft), but I am 100% here for tier-7 campaign rewards!

@@franzfogens7804 As far as I an tell, the Netherlands "naval squadrons" still go by the designation given to them in WWII by the British Royal Air Force, Nos. 320-321 Squadrons RAF.
Check your history facts, we had 2 carriers in our navy. Plus in ww2 there were 9 Mac vessels, ( merchant aircraft carriers) from a sub company from shell. They are rarely talked about, but if you don't believe me check out the gadila and Macomb. Owned by LA Corona.
@@Scar_tisseu-86 You had two *escort* carriers, and nothing even remotely resembling the air strike ability shown in-game. We are talking about less than 500 total aircraft (mostly patrol craft) in service over the last 100 years.
@danwick8566 that is correct. But the carrier itself where owned by the navy where both british built and carried the name karel doorman. From the 9 Mac, I know for sure that atleast four sailed under the dutch flag in the navy but were not owned by the navy. No where I said we had the aircraft, but we did have the carriers.
And in wows for pc they said the airstrike represented the netherlands location and closeness to the sea/ ocean, and it would not take long for our aircraft ( nomatter how little we have) to reach the seas and ocean ( antilles) thus it would be easily achieved for the netherlands airforce to preform airstrikes on vessels in a serten proximity of our shores.
Looks like an awesome update. Im so happy that the dutch ship are finaly coming to legends, and i can see the transformer and warhammer i keep hearing so much about.

No, you see, that would actually make sense, and as you know, weegee doesn't like to do things that make sense.
Incorrect, in tear 7 they need buffed big time to stand any sort of chance, tier 5 they're fine, tier 3... Okay I'll give you that a LITTLE, at some point you got to realize the carrier's perspective not having guns to fire back and needing planes on the front line as soon as possible to help your allies or you and your entire team is done.
Logged in today saw the Vermont as a 20 dollar purchase just to have the privilege of grinding it for two months.

We already have several of the AL commanders that are coming to PC now.
And new AL content in Legends have always been introduced in February.

All of the aircraft carriers in game. bombs are more of them but less damage, they have fuel and there will be more aircraft in the air

@@scuchtern4849 I just hope implacable receives some buffs, they really did her dirty for being an advanced carrier, at least make her torps do a bit more damage, or hell just reduce the replacement time for new aircraft, makes it really annoying to be deplaned. I just hope they buff and debuff damage for carriers that obviously need it

Is anyone else experiencing an apparent glitch since the update, where ships are visible (solid red) on the mini map but cannot be seen on screen at all?
I'm talking about ships that are within the player's own visible detection ring, btw, not ships that are at extreme ranges of 20km for example.
I just had a DD at 6 km range, aircraft on top of it, visible on minimap, but could not see him

How do you get the DDay camo for the Texas if you already own it?
Ships calling in airstrikes.. they are out of ideas. Could still just fix German BB secondaries so they dont miss so many shots?
I never have that problem because I use AL Bismarck and Von Hipper as an inspiration on Tirpitz B. War Gaming set it up to give people Incentive to get AL Bismarck to get more $. I use AL Bismarck on all of my brawler BBs and never have that issue. It feel bad for people who are true free to play players, I strategically spend money on the game. I got Tirpitz B in a crate around the same time AL Bismarck was released.

It's like a 14 second lead time on the airstrike. Any DD player that can dress themselves in the morning will be able to dodge it. No this thing will be used by the playerbase like everything else. To farm BBs for damage lol.

Great idea to buff carriers. It amazes me how little you actually know about what this game needs to be balanced.
It’s not buffs per se.
It’s a rework of the CV mechanics, that will include both strengthening some things, weakening others and just changing some.
I’m not thrilled about CV:s in the game. And I never play them myself.
But wait with criticism until you actually know what will happen and how it affects game play. You may even like it.
@@christofferahnstedt3847 in the patch notes, it said that this rework improves carriers overall. So yes, it is a buff.
The idea of fuel giving aircraft a limited range is a step in the right direction as well as only showing enemies on the mini-map but the rest does seem like a massive buff especially if HE bombers have more bombs
@thebigsad5402 you mean the balance changes that came out today? Something that didn't exist when I made my comment? And yes, the patch notes did in fact say they were improving carriers. I know what I read.
@thebigsad5402 yes, they came out today. And they did prove me wrong. It was mostly nerfs. But the patch notes still said they were making carriers better. They should have chosen better wording to avoid misconceptions such as this.

In the worst season, the aircraft carrier was too strong. Even if you had good air defense, the surface ship was still attacked by the plane. Two days later, it only weakened the aircraft carrier a little.
Normally i would say that i like the update, especially with a lot of content but i don't like the update.

So full game with the carrier on my head and shot down only17 aircrafts, how are the planes weaker?? You just made stronger the only overpowered class. WE NEED A SEPARATE GAME MODE WITHOUT CARRIERS.

War Gaming wants people to spend $ to get the ship, I have been playing for a year and it's one of the first things I noticed about the game, if you want to be a free to play player you will miss out on a lot of stuff. I spend a little bit of money on the game when really want something , I got both of the most recent campaign ships.

Great...more skins for ships no one plays after grinding through them the first time. Not gonna waste my time on this update. And that Dutch ship...as if CVs didn't break this game enough. Stand by as subs will soon be here. After five years of playing (and tons of money spent) I believe I am done with this game.

You people are ruining the game with all these Aircraft Carriers buffs. Aircraft are already way to strong. No ship that doesn't have a AA rating of at least 85, has no chance to compete anymore. Where are the buffs for ship AA fire???

@@godzillaiv2096 It most certainly does! American ships have very good AA, just like they did in real life. Usually a squad can only get one attack off, and if you’re skilled, then you can avoid it easily.

I’m sure in the vein of bringing overpowered ships to legends ,as Wargaming does from the PC game. These line of ships will be trash pretty much ,and need huge nerfs within months . So yea another exciting line made crap probably just because it’s Wargaming . As ‘theMightyJingles’ always says ,”if you can’t take a joke ,don’t play a Wargaming title!” . Boy does that ring true in so many ways for this specific version of a pc game they’ve had around for over a decade . Another stellar crash and burn from wargaming I’m sure ,and yes that’s a double entendre joke within a joke at trash-gamings expense .
I think this will make some people move there ships around now.
Aircraft carriers can't just sit at the back of map now. Battleships player are going to have to move around now. Island hugging players are going to have to there ships now

I have enough dd's with sonar, Lushun is only one more and not OP. Airstrikes look fun, they are a new mechanic that could be interesting to the game.

Just no. Really wish some people would engage their brain before posting. They have said on numerous occasions that 5 player divisions would negatively affect balance. If you want to play with more than 2 other people that is what your training rooms are for.
