    Eddie Louis Severson III was born in Evanston, Illinois, on December 23, 1964.
    One of the final people to join the band that would become Pearl Jam was Vedder.
    Through his work with Pearl Jam, Vedder has
    numerous collaborations, the singer joined The Who for what became the 2003 three disc album Live at the Royal Albert Hall and sang at the Ramones' final gig, which was documented on their 1997 album We're Outta Here! Vedder has also collaborated on recordings with musicians like Cat Power, the Strokes, and R.E.M.
    Vedder is one of the music industry's most outspoken activists in addition to his musical endeavors.
