As an American I am absolutely shook by the cleanliness of St. Petersburg, especially the subway. Everyone is so fit too - it’s like another universe to me. Thank you for the work you do, I’ve been following and watching since the beginning and I’m finding I’m starting to understand some native content!
Thank you. To be honest Petersburg is an exceptional city, for some reason it became an epicenter of beautiful people. And I'm very glad that these videos help you!

Hey. Well, skateboard culture has always been a part of street life, street culture and as far as I know skaters are not very good friends with cops, so it'll always depend on how much you are ready to risk. I don't see many skaters but I'm sure you'll find something if you look for skateboarding Petersburg videos in YT. As for this particular library, It won't be a good idea. It's quite huge and popular cultural place, I always see some cops or guys from national guard there. Thanks)
I do not know how hard would be for you guys, but if you can show the words written in the video as soon as you pronounce them, that would be a lot to follow and assimilate the vocabulary.
Hey. I do not put any words on purpose as I believe that reading is not recommended on the early stages of learning. I think it's more important to focus on bulding strong listening comprehension and then start reading after you are very very familiar with soundings of the words. Well, I'm not saying that this is the only correct way but it's something that works for me and some other people. However, I've started making PDF files with some mentioned vocabulary for those who combine these videos with traditional learning. You may find the link in the video description. Thank you for watching!
Greetings! 🙂 I simply put on the closed captions/subtitles on ... the "CC" symbol at the base of the screen. I listened to almost all of the video without reading words, I only put the subtitles on towards the end. It's a good video! Best wishes with your studies worldcitizen.
Hello, thank you for feedback. I've already written about this, so I'll just copy my comment. Thank you for your reply! This is only to be helpful! ))) Not many people will watch a 22-minute video without understanding the dialog. Very few will rewatch enough times, to hopefully hear the correct spelling. Without seeing the words I don't hear them correctly. In the next step, I need to forget what I heard wrong and then learn the correct spelling. If the sentences are displayed in the video, I can hear the correct pronunciation of the words. When I can understand what is said, I learn much faster. I will also simultaneously learn how the words are spelled. A part 2, without text, will then build strong listening comprehension. Because I will hear and understand correctly, I will enjoy it, replay it many times, and watch all the other lessons. LESSON 1 Part 1 Only vocabulary, with subtitles. Part 2 Simple dialog, very short sentences with subtitles Part 3 Dialog without subtitles LESSON 2 Part 1 New vocabulary, with subtitles. Part 2 Almost the same dialog, with subtitles Part 3 Dialog without subtitles LESSON 3 Part 1 New vocabulary, with subtitles. Part 2 Almost the same dialog, a little different, plural version of some words, little longer sentences, with subtitles Part 3 Dialog without subtitles New lessons get a little more advanced all the time.
@@josandoy thank you for your feedback and sharing your ideas. I'm sorry but this channel is focused on quite different method. I know that there are people who prefer learning a language at the beginning stages without any knowledge of the alphabet. They have no goal to get a new word after one lesson or one video. They aquire it slower by listening to this word many times in many different contexts. I also love this method, it works for me, so for now this channel is mainly for this type of learners. I understand that reading may be important for you but there are also people who desperately seek content without any written words. So I kinda had to choose my team :) Also it's quite difficult for me to make series of structured videos, I loose the enthusiasm in that case. So I just improvise and generate new random ideas every time as I don't want this channel to become another boring obligation in my life. Anyway I hope that sooner or later I'll find out how to quickly create subtitles with AI and will also add them. Thank you for watching my videos!
Hello josandoy! 🙂 I watched the video and listened to the words. Towards the end of the video I put the CC (closed captions/subtitles) on. It is practical to experiment with and without the subtitle text. The further into the video I watched, the more I understood. I got used to the sound of his voice. At first, in the kitchen, I wasn't understanding as clearly. I will definitely watch this video a few times! Best wishes to you for your studies! 🍀
