Excellent tutorial, I gave up on Spotlight because it regularly failed to keep locked on chosen subject and the footage was jerky if it worked at all. The location pin option looks to be a good solution, will need to give that a try.

I have the same issue with a M4P. I haven't tried it yet, but would assume the drone has to be in the air for the option to be available. @@ZookZangsten

Do I need to have camera in “photo” mode in order to use active track, spotlight and poi options? Those features will not come up on my screen and I was told I must be in photo mode. I can’t find anything that says I must be in photo mode
Can I use POI to orbit a person indoors? For example In a HUGE palace or wedding hall to orbit a band or husband a d wife dancing ? Does it work indoors ?

My thing is, I know that it has sensors on the front, but if you have it in active track and you’re moving towards the drone and the drone is flying backwards, how can it sense what is behind it won’t it run right into what ever is behind it ? right into something?
I have the latest firmware on my DJIM3P, but for some reason, I can't get the controller to recognize a subject choosing on the display and won't give me the option for ActiveTrack, Spotlight, or POI!! HELP???
with the POI feature it states that object avoidance isn't available. If there's trees or buildings around, how can I stop it from flying into them? I'm a bit scared to use the feauture
Well…. Keep away from them 😃 or be prepared to hit the stop button on the remote to make the drone hover instead. Or you have to fly above all obstacles. Good luck 😃
What lights are you referring to? I don’t think I have any special lights in this video… 🙄 You would be able to get some cool b-role shots in your garden videos with a drone! 😃
Now i will not use anymore the camera roller, i just select the place i whant to film or person in a weding for example and the camera will do the jobe and i focus onlu on piloting the drone

Have you activated the object tracking in the menu? If yes. Does plus signs show up on objects like yourself?
As per my knowledge, try reducing resolution from 4K 60P to 4K 30P or less and try.... Let me know if this solves your issue
