I've just bought the game and am waiting for the bigger expansions to arrive before unboxing and playing it. From what you guys said, I think I will have the same problem Wes had, namely being able to do anything because of the multitude of resources. Hopefully though I'll love it as much as Tom, haha.

I've played it about 10 times and that has only come into play maybe 1 or 2 times. The Dukes really guide your strategy because they all have game ending points in some way. So your starting duke could net heavy points going for 'builder' citizens so instead of taking a citizen that nets you a zillion resources each round, you might consider what your Duke needs in order to win the game. The game gives you an embarrassment of riches, but that doesn't win you the game much of the time.

How's solo game is it good/difficult I've really wanted this.i love the art and tableu building and varied setup.but wasn't sure if the solo was worth it.
