Commendable faithful recreation of an MSX game to be, mid 2000s to boot. Gorgeous music too, and a vast world to explore. La-Mulana is an ode to a former gaming era of years past.

well i ended up picking up the remake on steam from this was on sale for a bit over 3$ so figured why not. Must say they really added alot of quality of life stuff to the remake compared to the original. you can equip multiple computer programs at once and don't need to switch them. You also get a email program that gives you hints and some direction as to where to go clearly very decadent compared to the nes version. The hot spring i think was added in the remake it is to the left of the village and is a puddle in the ground that i can tell is not there on the nes version. You also get alot more money from jars. I had enough dosh for the hand scanner before leaving the village.
