Another cool feature they offer is rollover for your minutes and data. You just manually change your plan a day before your scheduled auto renew and you keep your unused data and minutes from the previous month. Also, hotspot data comes directly out of your data. Use as much as you like for hotspot!

Hands down THE BEST plan pricing. Zero problems in over 1 year of solid service. I do Unlimited talk/text and 5 GB for 17 bucks. Includes taxes and fees. Can't beat that with a stick.

Switched from mint mobile so that I could pay month to month and adjust my data plan throughout the year.
Absolutely no regrets switching to tello mobile! 😁

I've had Tello for a year now and absolutely love it. I don’t understand why its not more popular? As you said its the only companies out there you can customize. The service is amazing. And 35 gb fir $25 is crazy. Five years ago I was paying $20 a month for 1 gb on Tracfone. Things are very different today and Tello is great. I don’t see myself ever leaving it. The options and service is too good for the price .

Am I missing something? My friend, who needs to pinch every penny has "tello" and they say it requires data usage to send and receive MMS texts. I checked it out and yes, MMS texting requires data usage. That is a super big CON for me even if it does save a few dollars. Are we missing something? Do you have tello, and can you send and receive MMS texts with no data useage? I know T-Mobile does not require data usage for MMS texting. I guess most cell providers do not, so what am I missing??????????????????

You do indeed need data for MMS, but not for SMS; I am asume you know the difference.

@@tdgdbs1 Yes, I know what the letters ( acronyms) stand for, however, I do NOT need internet (data) to send pictures or very short, low res video clips from my cheapest (Total/Verizon) talk & text plan. (Yes, it does include 1Gb data- but usage chart shows I never use it.) I do not use my phone with data or Wifi enabled except to download or update an app. MobileData/Wifi/Location/Bluetooth, etc are all toggled OFF. My brother has T-Mobil and he turned OFF his internet/wifi/data just to see if he could send a pic attached to a text message and YES he could and did. So I KNOW that Total and T-Mobil do not require data to send or receive pics in a text message. Of course the image is "data", but so is the text - data packets... Thanks for your reply, but so far my real-time usage experience/results differ greatly from the "explanations" I have read.

You are incorrect about MMS not requiring data from other providers. It requires data. SMS does not. It kinda seems like you are creating an issue where there is none.

@@razorbeard6970 Yes, I understand the functions. Yes, the little circle spins and says "converting to MMS". However, I have NEVER been charged data to send or receive texts with pics, never. I do not even have a data plan, just talk & text. I also know how to configure my phone to turn off location, bluetooth, data, wifi, etc. I have data disabled and have never used or been charged for data usage, (my online dashboard always shows my data usage as a big, fat, ZERO) yet I send and receive pics all the time. I toggle on location only to use satellite positioning for my "OsmAnd" map occasionally. IDK, I'm using Total/Verizon on a 2016 Samsung J3. A friend who has T-Mobile and a newer S-22 toggled OFF all of his data/internet/wifi and still sent and received pics. Data usage chart/graph showed he did not use any data. Yeah, I know it does not match anyone's reality, but that's what it is. No data usage on my phone ever. Well, when I connect home wifi to update an app, then I toggle wifi off. Again, IDK. whatever... yes, it does seem strange... I don't mean to, or want to create an issue, I'm just trying to understand how I can send and receive pics without ever using data... not even having data usage logged? No one needs to respond unless you have some outrageous, off-the-wall, unlikely theory... :)
