great way to deal with pests! we released lady bug larvaes in our garden to fight the aphids and i also noticed the ants farming them for the "honey" on our fruit trees... crazy nature
Thanks again chef. You help me move forward every day on many levels. You have a super power, it gets me up and going when I'm sinking down and want to give up.
Man I hope your customers appreciate how good they got it! Your place is just garden goals. I'm fortunate enough to be on 11 acres that i have to let fields grow head high, setup dozen of birdhouses and support the ecosystem that is here. These bugs will work as long as you provide them the habitat. Thanks and more please!
Thanks Cliff! Your property sounds awesome! I have actually received an NRCS Grant to install a pollinator habitat in the rest of my lawn. Soon there will be no lawn left to mow! Which is the goal! I hate mowing the lawn... What a waste of time! Lol
@@chefsharvestfarm thats insane guess i gotta get on the NRCS I think I watched every single video and enjoyed your overview of the tunnel acquisition, ever think you will do a deep dive video?
@@cliffpalermo yeah man! I will definitely do some videos on how to get funded for sure! I’m actually on the NRCS board of directors urban agriculture subcommittee… So I definitely have a few insights… but the best thing anyone can do is just walk into their office and ask for help! I didn’t even know what I was asking for when I first went in their office.
@@AnneHeyns thank you 🙏 it doesn’t feel like things are looking great these days… just gets rough in the heat of summer! But fall is my season! Thanks for following along and dropping comments 🙏
Thanks for the video. I wonder if timing the predator eggs a little earlier would both reduce the need for spray and give their population more prey to feed on so they can lay eggs/reproduce. Will stay tuned to see how it goes.
I release them several times per year in the spring and fall. They don’t do well in the heat of summer in Tennessee. They prefer 70’s-80’s Fahrenheit to hatch.

I'm expecting my 3rd shipment of Lacewing eggs on cards soon. They've been my weapon against aphids this year. I got a late start, so couldn't use Ladybugs nor Assasins. Arbico Organics is AWESOME.
