The worst part of being an introvert is when u want to say something, u would think in your head for so long whether to say it or not or how to say it, and be worried if you would say something wrong. And in the end, you said nothing at all
Don't you hate it when a conversation between three or more people suddenly turns to your area of interest and you begin building an intricate contribution in your mind but the conversation changes topics before you have a chance to say it?
You know you’re an introvert when you’re fully enjoying your time in quarantine while everyone else complains about not being able to go out and party.
The one bad thing about being introverted is when your old friends just completely forget you exist it hurts all the more, because you were the only one who treasured that connection.
Righhhtttt... it's like people today don't know how to value these small, insignificant yet significant connections.. It's as if we're the last line of defense or something like that
Or when people you cherish think that a requirement for being a friend is keeping in touch every day. Like chill, dude; small talk exhausts me and I prefer to catch up meaningfully!
So true, I remember seeing my ex-bestfriend on his way home from school, I shouted him and waved, and he just looked back and ignored me like he didn't even know me. This was the same guy who used to fist bump me all the time, spent time playing games together, talked about girls (2D ones) and he would say, "we'll always be best friends." I guess I was just naive to think that someone like him would ever treasure a friendship. I get that you grow up, and some things become null to you, but friendships shouldn't.
Ik this might annoy all of you, but whemever i watch a movie with my friend, he constantly brings up like "hey that actor is in ___ movie!" And shit, thats why my friendships dont last long.
Me at school: quiet, ignores everyone, speaks when spoken to, nerd Me at home: loud AF! , doing the wiredest shit on earth, sing gibberish(kpop songs without knowing lyrics) etc
Dubu_ Crush OMG!!! My friends always say that! I know I’m an introvert but I’m a complete extrovert when it comes to ppl and friends I’m really close to
I agree. I choose to observe how people work, and to go along with it without problems for fear that my opinion or choice will be criticized or corrected. Although the video says that introverts make great leaders, I, more often than not, tend to avoid being in the chair of authority. (That May be because I’m the middle child. But that may not be the case. IDK.)
Me: staring at a wall My friends: what are you thinking about? My mind: iwonderwhytheteacherhasahighschoolstudentcomeintoherclassroomeverydayisshehavinganaffairomgithinkihaveacrushonthiskidhesreallyhotdoiwantchildrenornahithinkiwanttojointhearmynow
Why do schools keep trying to make people more extroverted even though they most definetly see how introverted you are and that you dont want to be extroverted.
Introverted behavior is observed in organisms as small as amoebas; loner amoebas act as a failsafe to when groupthinking amoeba are threatened or exterminated. Most introverts would’ve been safe and already self-quarantined without notice, if the virus had been deadlier, and by the time extroverts were ordered to quarantine... Who’s to say how severe the damage would’ve been, then? “All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.” -Blaise Pascal. Groupthink, the bystander effect-we’re all susceptible to it; introverts are just more inwardly-focused to recognize and subvert its influence, not to mention distant and isolated from it. Loner amoeba are left alone to this role for survival, so perhaps it is with instinct that groupthinking amoeba let them be. In humans? Evolved to distrust, fear, and etcetera whom they don’t understand to their lonesome. Extroversion is a cultural norm, or concept, and if humans can’t comprehend behavior, or change it, then... 🤷♀️ Do I have to say what we already know the experiences of? If you’re looking for a book, Susan Cain’s Quiet is explanatory, but if you’re looking for a reason behind the preference for extroversion? Strength is in numbers, save for when it is weakened; social desirability; cultural influences; etcetera. There’s probably a list you can find, somewhere.
I feel like introverts are so misunderstood and it’s sad. Like they see it as a problem when it’s really not. I mean yes sometimes it’s unhealthy to NEVER go out but sometimes we do other things like read play instruments. We don’t just stay on our phones lol. But I hate it how people see it as weird behaviour when they don’t find it weird that extroverts are around people 247?? Like it just makes me mad how people think that everyone HAS to be an extrovert and if they aren’t there’s something wrong with them. Like if I need sunlight and fresh air I go outside to my backyard and do something out there. Like exercise or something. Idk if u get what I’m tryna say but it’s not bad if you don’t leave the house because we do a bunch of things inside it in our backyards lol. So Srry for the rant 😂
@ DEE ESS: Stay strong Dee. As a 60+ y/o introvert I can tell you that it does get better with time. After many years in various jobs I can be witty and quick to act. Very glad to get home and shut the door of course. I have a few friends but they would help me no matter what. A friend worth keeping will value for who you are, not your party tricks.
@@dreadogastusf3548 Thanks. I hope so too. Recently, I had my first ever panic attack, which lasted 3hrs, and since then, all my introvert traits intensified.
@@dlsk07 Your brain can rewire itself. It’s called elastoplasticity or something like that. Kind of like playing a guitar riff over and over until your brain can do it well. Perhaps you can take advantage of this and rewire your brain by putting yourself in social situations often. Take this with a grain of salt though and do some research about it
Yes, I was accused many times by my sister of having mental issues because I'm not a people person. Sadly in my life, it seems that being an introvert attracts toxic people because they think you're just gonna stay silent and take their shit. It can suck.
@firdaus halim I think you've mixed up anti-social and asocial. Anti-social is behaviour that harms other people. Sociopaths and psychopaths are anti-social, but you don't have to be either of those things to be anti-social. Asocial means preferring to be alone and in some cases shy. Some cases. Introverts are commonly asocial and some are anti-social but extroverts can also be the latter. There are some public speakers and performers that are introverts. So no, introverts are not all shy and wanting to be alone sometimes is not introverted.
Henry Savinon yeah thats true i wear clothes and all i can think about is who will call me out or aay something so i get nervous but nobody ever says anything and people normslly say i dress nice
Henry Savinon this is so true. People during a fight always try and pinpoint my flaws and I'm sitting there laughing like "lmao already dragged myself on this one long back"
13: introverts always know everything (secrets, gossip, etc.): we introverts have become so good at not being noticed that we end up being everywhere and knowing everything about everything. I'm proud to be an introvert at times 🙃🙂
That is so true. People joke that I know everything because somehow they always end up sharing secrets around me, but not directly to me. I just tell them that if they don't want me there, I don't mind at all. It's not like I'm going to share those secrets anyway.
I relate to this. Sometimes I get so lost in my own for so long that its embarrassing when I come out of it cause oh look! I was staring at someone I hardly even know for 15+ plus minutes
Yeah because people think that asking for ketchup is an embarassing thing and shoulnt be done and everyone watches if someone asks for ketchup and actually care if people asked for it
@@jester3654 for sure! I didn't have any for the past 3 years but I'm going different subjects now and I've got a few. physics and chemistry (mainly physics tbh), the teachers are so caring and kind and are really easy conversationalists! @@jester3654 ya I had one class last year I was slightly more talkative but I was mainly quiet but me talking is extremely rare some people at my elementary school thought I couldn't speak

I've felt left out but then I realized I honestly enjoy not being in the crowd and being alone sometimes. I guess I was wanting what I thought I was supposed to want because it seemed like everyone else did. It's a relief being who you naturally are.
So True, I never feel lonely when I’m alone, only when I’m around people... They keep overtalking and ignoring me and that makes me feel so lonely and just like I’m not needed or wanted😔
Ah yes, the inner monologue. It's almost annoying at times how little I've been able to just sit and think about nothing. So many different scenarios crop up out of nowhere, whether it's future conversations or confrontations I might have, things from my past that I've mulled over a hundred times, or ideas for stories I've yet to write. It's both a blessing and a curse. It's frustrating that I've always been a better writer than a speaker. I stumble over my words a lot unless I talk about something I love, and then I ramble on about it for ten minutes because I'm so unused to talking about it. I notice so many different facial expressions and bits of body language from people I talk to or observe talking. I can instantly tell when someone I know is feeling off, without them saying a word. Whenever I watch movies or read stories I'm constantly thinking about the characters and their perspectives, even asking what their own inner dialogue might be telling them, to the point where I can't recognize them as mere stereotypes or movie tropes; they must be thinking, feeling, reacting in their own way to what happens around them and to them, even if they're only a side character or a bit part. How must they feel, how must they have grown up, what have they seen and experienced, what has happened to them in their lives beyond what I see in front of me? It makes watching the simplest of movies difficult, to say the least. I can't enjoy them in the way I used to before I had all these thoughts running through my mind. I miss the days of my youth when I was innocent and didn't constantly think about other people's feelings and the consequences my words or someone else's words might have on that person. It's equally frustrating when so many other people are blind to these things that I pick up on so easily. I feel gifted but I feel alone because even though I see these things that others can't, I'm powerless to do anything or say anything about them. I hate the monotony of small talk, I want to talk about the real issues, about their issues, about my issues, about our goals, to get to the meat of the conversation. Life is so much richer and full of emotion than people let on in their conversations. I don't care about the game last night. I don't care where you went out to drink and how blasted you got. I don't care about any of that shallow stuff because it tells me nothing about who you are, where you come from, where you are going in your life. That's what I want to tell you, not my favorite color or if I watched that new Disney show or how good dinner was (if it was, I will tell you, though). Maybe it's too deep for some people, and maybe that's the problem. People don't want to talk about the deep issues and if they do they just generalize it with some meaningless platitude or, "Yeah, that's rough" and then move on to the next topic. I have all these thoughts very often, and yet nothing I say here hasn't been said or thought of before. But it should still be articulated because sometimes people need to hear these things more than once. I don't know. I'm just rambling at this point. But it's what I feel and it's what I think.
@@gameonsantos I'm technically an INFJ but on the spectrum I'm really close to being an INTJ as well, it's a difference of a few percentage points I think
You just.. Woah You just described my entire life and personlity in a single paragraph, I didn't think that was possible. I thought I was by myself in this, thank you so much for showing me I'm not. Yeah ik this might seem shallow or I might look like a pick me girl to you, but whether or not you think I'm being sincere, Thank you.
GothicJustin 9514, we are not so much hiding as just being observant. We learn much more from other people by listening and observing body language than by talking. We don’t need to be the centre of attention and only speak when we have something worth while to say. As they say, still waters run deep.
Yeah I'm an introvert I do listen to other people's worries, but I NEVER tell them if I'm having a horrid day and they are never able to tell I'm very good at acting too edit: and those people in the comment section r saying not to bottle it up and tell someone but who even wants to listen to me?I don't have any friends and my family just makes fun of it. I just learned to accept that. I just posted this comment because I know so many people relate and I know I'm not alone.
Hmm.. I'm also an introvert I don't share my problems with others too But sometimes I try to make my loving ones understand my problems without saying anything to them
Try to say your problems. It's better to speak them out and see how they can help than to keep it to yourself. Because keeping your problems to yourself and not seeing help when you need to can negatively affect you.
Sometimes I return to the real world after thinking about everything that is stressing me out, and I realize my face is twisted, and I relax all my muscles in my face. It completely changes the expression on my face from squinting and frowning and other tightly working muscles to a calm, much nicer face
Someone asked me "Dont you feel so alone living in your own world?" I replied, "Dont you feel so small living in other people's world" And dang her face expression changed bc she knew it was true.
When you type or text, you can think about what you say before actually sending your message out. You can still correct yourself if you made a mistake, so i think typing or texting is just easier for people in general.
In class it's painful when no-one knows the answer to a question. Because most of the time I know and I don't put my hand up. Edit: I guess I'm not the only one with this problem.
Berserker of Love but what if you are no afraid but just don’t feel like doing it or probably too lazy to lift your hand to answer the question or if you just don’t feel like speaking at the moment or all of the above?
Since I’m really smart and the teachers know that, I just assume they know that I know the answer. It’s probably bad but I’d rather not answer. If known one answers I tend to mutter the answer under my breath, what I hate is when my extroverted friend tells the teacher I know the answer. I’m very quiet so I have to repeat it multiply times so the whole class can hear it, it’s extremely Nerve-racking
I'm an extrovert, but I highly prefer my introvert bosses over the extrovert ones. Introvert bosses are not fake. Their instructions are short and sweet. They wanna get done as fast as possible so they can get rid of their subordinates as quick as possible to. I love it! Gives me more time to do things that I enjoy doing out side of work. And they don't bother me unnecessarily compare to the other bosses that I had before which are (pester) extroverts 😂
Angel Vollant same here, but me and my dad dont talk very much, even though we live in the same house. We get along somewhat well, but he makes me feel like shit alot so i dont bother conversating with him often. He never starts a conversation with me unless he’s telling me to do something, normal conversation is pretty rare between us. I dont have many friends at all too, 4 at most. Dont get me wrong theres other people that i talk to every now and then, but those people always make me feel unwanted and unaccepted. Ive been bullied in school since grade four (Im in grade 11 now). People gave me nicknames and weird looks at school alot so i took a co-op to get away from it. Im returning next month and im hoping that people will actually have at least a little bit of respect, but its highly unlikely to see respect and empathy in this generation. Everybody is so apathetic. The past few years has been really impactful on me, alot has happened and Ive almost ended my life because of it. Im still stuck in this extremely dark mental state and the majority of the time if i get yelled at or mess up on something i end up criticizing myself so heavily in my head, and its like those negative thoughts plow through my brain at a hundred miles per hour and it becomes so overwhelming, especially when im at work or around alot of people. It feels like they can read my thoughts and are judging me all the time, i know for a fact at school i get judged, its school, every teenager in that building will judge everyone they look at. Just seems like im the only one who gets judged out loud.. but im getting better i think, i havent been using social media as much as i used to but that doesnt seem to change much about how i feel most of the time. Sorry for ranting.
@@viablespade I think maybe u should tell your teacher that people have been bullying and teasing you, or u can talk about it with your mom.your mom would give u great advice, but be brave enough to explain that people have been bullying u and that u feel depressed
Mandy Lee ive told my principals and my mom throughout the years. my mom has had to talk to almost all of them because they didnt believe me, or at least i feel like they didnt. They never took care of the problem, all they did was get a little bit of information and then suspend the people that would bully me. Nothing changes when they come back. My school has a counsellor that I’ve tried talking with to explain everything that i feel and how im treated by other students in that building, but honestly school counselling is shit. At least it is where i live. Im contemplating therapy but every time i think about it i think of being judged. No matter who or you resort to they’ll always judge you even if its in their head, but maybe thats what Therapists need to do in order to help people get better.
I have an exact plan laid out in my head if ww3 ever starts but I still don’t have the confidence to go up to a sales employee to ask where the sour cream is kept
Literally but it can be a hand full, so many times throughout the day where I'm hitting my head because of an embarrassing moment or a mistake that couldve been avoided
This video made me cry! 😂 I always felt ashamed about being an introvert, and anti social. Watching this video was the very first time I felt proud to be an introvert! Thank you! 💜💜
don't cry. extrovert people think we are lonely because we prefer being alone or not always outdoors lol. only other introverts can understand each other :)
Cedrick Hall 3 yes!!! I moved abroad and had to take the language course. First day “ok students in this language introduce yourself”!! I almost threw up...
I literally don't go to school anymore, but when I read your message I started wondering about what I would say and how it would go. I will probably never need to prepare for this though but my brain can't help itself 😂
This is very true in most cases. Anyone we can think of to possibly lean on (confide in with an in-depth situation), is usually an extrovert and a BLABBERMOUTH.
in a perfect situation an introvert finds another introvert and you support each other. ive been experiencing it for 2 months now and i hope it last forever
LOL i always prepare for every possible argument that can be made about something and i always try to make the most sense possible so thats why i take forever to form a sentence. I always write a text then edit the text like a million times so that it can make more sense because im trying to pick the right words. this entire video is soooo true
”Introverts have a therapist mentality” Me: literally helping everyone by talking to them and help them understand how to deal with their emotions or problems. ”When i have a problem: literally avoiding everyone so others don’t need to share any burden i have😔”
I tend to get this one sentence on my report card: _"They work hard and complete all assignments, but I would like if they spoke up and voiced their opinion more often"_
I haven’t spoken a single word in a few of my classes. I think the teachers understand though, because they didn’t take off as much points for lack of participation compared to other people.
I can relate! But i always thought that this fear of public speaking was becauce lack of self esteem? Do you mean that I have good self esteem anyway even If i hate to speak in front of a whole group just because I am introvert??
Not actually because when I'm getting called and ask to stand i think that it is my opportunity to say the thoughts I have about a certain topic or what I observed about it when it comes to presentations by groups, im the last resort or the last option, but if I am the leader I will do my best to carry my tea,
Fellow Introvert here. For any of you suffering from too much depression, and are too anxious to try anti-depressants (on them right now, and they have helped ALOT, so don't close that door! Talk to a doctor sometime!), try Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This brand of therapy helps you challenge your own negative thoughts and concepts, and replaces them with loving ones instead. I have a journal that I write my anxieties in, and then make a loving counter-point for each. A book that helped me get started was, Rewire: Change Your Brain by Richard O' Connor.
I spend hours alone in my room, my family thinks I'm separating myself from the world and have depression and whatnot. I think its just anxiety from all the people and my room is the place if feel safe and comfortable
I was the same growing up. My parents were constantly worried that I was shutting myself out from the rest of humanity and my dad even pressured me into going for therapy.
Same. Everyday I spent my life Living In my room. During Weekends or when I got back home after class on weekdays. It's my comfortable zone and it relaxes me. Fortunately, My small group of friends are understanding my habit🌟
I feel happy about this. I'm an introvert, as i hate small talk, which my friends love, so i'm often just listening to what they say and only speak when i need or have to speak. Everything here is in line with me
i prefer not talk at all rather than having an awkward conversation edited: i guess we all share one thing in common..this is to those that feel sad atm; whatever problems you're facing right now, i hope you're strong in handling them and i know every each of you are strong and will never breakdown easily just 🐝🍃 in yourself..love yourself first is what matter the most and remember even if you feel like you have no one, there are actually those who needs and love you in this world you just have to wait for the right time to come💕
I am an introvert and my whole life I have feel like there is something wrong with me, and not worthy to be listened or loved and it damaged my self esteem (my sister and my ex boyfriends are extroverts so I always felt overshadowed) but watching this video and reading the comments is helping me to realize that the way I am is not wrong and I should start to stand up for myself when others are being judgemental, insensitive or condescending 😌🙌🏼
i am the exact same way i feel they think i dont care or not the type to put others first which is just so untrue i just alos dont want to bother anyone either unless they want to n need soemthing... so im the complete opposite for being self focussed etc but i also have social anxiety too
and unless i have soemthign deep tp discuss o dont want to make smal chat t0 start things off i hate the hi how are you how are things i only say it because i mean it but when i find the other doesnt mean it n they are shallow it turns me off talkign tot hem n then i get awkard n want to move on n leave what i started
To a certain extent an Introvert has to be social if they want to get something in life, or if they want to make a New friend. Because waiting for said extrovert to adopt you will not happen (in my case). And while it's true that said trait is valid, Sadly for some things you do need connections.
@@Arlesmon I don’t think anyone is that antisocial that they don’t want a job because they don’t want to interact with others I mean yeah it can be a pain but you know it had to be done In terms of friends I mean personally I don’t make the first move but if someone talks to you you should reply I mean I personally prefer to keep a select few as my close friends but if someone wants to make new friends then just say hi you might regret it or you might not
@Kyoko and Maki are my wives being anti social is a disorder so no introverts aren’t anti social well not all anyway it is just about your social preferences do you like being alone more confined in a small group of friends or do you like being around other new people to make new friends and hate staying at home alone to me that is the difference between extrovert and introvert correct me if I am wrong
Introverts are loyal friends . It's so true . As an only introvert in class , I'm the most loyal one . That's why I can't even trust my own friends . I mean who would trust the one who told you their close friend's secret . And while others just spit out others secret , I want to keep them secret . Because I don't want to betray my friends .

Listening to your troubles 8. Counseling 9. Thinking before acting 10. Knowing themselves 11. Being a source of wisdom 12. Being a loyal friend
most people here probably aren’t introverts, but don’t hate because i’m not trying to be mean. ur mind tricks u into think u r something when u aren’t, and it tricks u because of stereotypes and listening to someone talk about it.
"Aside from being silent critics, introverts are *constantly having inner monologues,* *evaluating themselves and their choices* in everyday situations." Nothing relates to me more than this! 😀
"Do I buy this tea, and 80 one-cup-filter bags, it's cheaper, and less waste (the filters don't have the cord, AND adjective paper label), makes sense!" Half way through the giant shop - "But, this mixture in bags is terrible currently, no idea what they did to it, or what happened in the growing/harvest. So, do you really want to drink even more of this??? Yet, if not, what else then?? Coffee is bad for me, no option! Oh well, just buy more of the cocoa! ... I mean, come on, you CAN handle 3 cups a day of that, you're a fully grown and tall and mature girl, and a sane person who makes sound decisions with confidence btw.!!! Right! Just bring this stuff back, and smile, you know they're watching." And p-lease don't turn to me with any question!! I'm in deep thinking!!! :P

Hmm, always thinking about the possible outcomes to the environment Im in, mostly bad ones, thinking for a counter for those, thinking how it'd affect things, picking the right words etc.
My class mates thought that i was shy or something but never did they know. I'm an introvert and one day a presentation will happen which a teacher gave us a specific topic and when the day of presenting of reports came. I presented my research and when i finished my report the teacher praised me because, i delivered my research very well and talk confidently.
The thing I love as an introvert is the fact that I can spent days alone, just being busy with sporting, doing stuff I like and improving myself by keep learning new things. Not having much social needs really helps me getting a lot of time to improve myself.
kylee lmao i said a joke quietly in class than the funny guy picked it up and said it louder and the class laughed. For the whole period he avoided looking at me.
It's true, I say answers to teacher's question quietly and my friend sitting next to me speaks them aloud and get appreciation . Well, even for practical examinations, I didn't gathered courage to answer the questions which were asked out loud in groups but I gave answers to questions which were spoken to me directly. (Well , I was a topper in my whole school life , and students used to think that I cheat in exams and tests because I don't give answers or indulge in discussions during classes. ) Well this is my first comment on UA-cam (Sorry , for bad english , i am still learning it as a second language)
For me the best thing about us, introverts is we are a good companion, a loyal friend. I have this extrovert friend who always stick with me. She cried when we parted ways in college. She always said that I'm her favorite person. When she had a problem she goes to me everytime and I'm just listen to her then she felt relieved.
True, but no extrovert ever thinks that the introvert is thinking about every single letter and word, listening and noticing every single detail there is to a conversation.
I have adopted so many introverts I love them :D Seriously 70 percent of my friends are introverts being an extrovert feels bad sometimes because you HAVE to be there for them when they’re not there for themselves...
Im like that too, when you finally want to go then when you arrive and see so many people staring at you, youre like “I wanna go home, i regret coming here”
The unfortunate part about being so observant since childhood is the extremely deep understanding about how other people are. That sounds backwards but ever since i was young, i thought being an introvert was bad but because i knew exactly how others felt and acted constantly, i tried being an extrovert for a long time. It never once worked though. Even though i knew what to do or say in script, but i couldn't physically make myself do it either because it wasnt wise, it was embarassing, or itd change the way i am and perceived. Im in love with my introverted side now though. The thoughts i have in my own imagination are so intriguing and though i feel lonely sometimes, its worth it. The happiness i get from accepting myself outweighs the feeling of being alone and i already know that one day ill find real friends anyway so im okay with being patient for now. I think ill find my people in university.. just 1 and a half more years till then :)
I usually just say mmhhh and awkward laugh. And when I think of something to say the moment goes and then I don't feel comfortable saying anything anymore

Introverts can be the MOST talkative.....but ONLY to themselves or a few people whom they're comfortable around
Gautam Menon i agree i can talk a lot to myself or with people that im comfortable with
That is actually very true for me if I’m with friends it’s not very hard to talk but around strangers I get very shy and quiet
I talk a LOT with my parents, the only people that I trust totally
I'm a parrot inside the house
And myself, a LOT MORE
But outside
Nope
Yeahhh I talk to myself alot, especially when I'm in the bathroom doing my business 😂😐
I sometimes think I'm a UA-camr creating a video and I'm talking to myself
You know you’re an introvert when you’re fully enjoying your time in quarantine while everyone else complains about not being able to go out and party.
Can't relate more
but it"s tough though
I've spent a lot of quarantine playing Dark Souls 3 again
Thats me
when a friend says miss you!! i say it back but sometimes not fully mean it😂
The one bad thing about being introverted is when your old friends just completely forget you exist it hurts all the more, because you were the only one who treasured that connection.
Leaves more room to meet new people and different experiences yeah it sucks but I mean sometimes you just wanna change life up a bit Yk

I get that you grow up, and some things become null to you, but friendships shouldn't.
i found that extroverts will talk whenever they can to fill silence, like cmon guys just enjoy the peace and quiet

I agree. I choose to observe how people work, and to go along with it without problems for fear that my opinion or choice will be criticized or corrected. Although the video says that introverts make great leaders, I, more often than not, tend to avoid being in the chair of authority. (That May be because I’m the middle child. Why do schools keep trying to make people more extroverted even though they most definetly see how introverted you are and that you dont want to be extroverted.
this is so true
Sadly it sometimes works
Agree 😌 HATE IT 😥
I don't know why this made me cry.

Yes, I was accused many times by my sister of having mental issues because I'm not a people person. Sadly in my life, it seems that being an introvert attracts toxic people because they think you're just gonna stay silent and take their shit. It can suck.
Introverts are not shy, we just enjoy being quiet.
They can be. They don't have to be shy. Some are, some aren't.
Now, someone got a good point.
@firdaus halim That's just blatantly wrong
Exactly
@firdaus halim I think you've mixed up anti-social and asocial. Anti-social is behaviour that harms other people. Sociopaths and psychopaths are anti-social, but you don't have to be either of those things to be anti-social. Asocial means preferring to be alone and in some cases shy. Some cases. Introverts are commonly asocial and some are anti-social but extroverts can also be the latter. There are some public speakers and performers that are introverts. So no, introverts are not all shy and wanting to be alone sometimes is not introverted.
As introverts we judge our selves more than we judge others. Something's we put ourselves down so you don't have to.

true
Me too!
I relate to this so much!

@Angel Vollant I understand u , gurl 😉

Sad fact: We introverts are always available to lean on while we have no one to.
yah... 😔
Relatable
This is very true in most cases. Anyone we can think of to possibly lean on (confide in with an in-depth situation), is usually an extrovert and a BLABBERMOUTH.
Bang on!
in a perfect situation an introvert finds another introvert and you support each other. ive been experiencing it for 2 months now and i hope it last forever
LOL i always prepare for every possible argument that can be made about something and i always try to make the most sense possible so thats why i take forever to form a sentence. I always write a text then edit the text like a million times so that it can make more sense because im trying to pick the right words. this entire video is soooo true
”Introverts have a therapist mentality”
Me: literally helping everyone by talking to them and help them understand how to deal with their emotions or problems.
”When i have a problem: literally avoiding everyone so others don’t need to share any burden i have😔”
Me
I don't think this is strictly limited to introverts ahah, I'm an extrovert but I still do this
Yeah no I gave up on this. Good for u tho u stayed stronger
That's what heroes do.
I am not a therapist one bit, I’m so socially inept that I feel bad because I don’t know what to say
I tend to get this one sentence on my report card:
_"They work hard and complete all assignments, but I would like if they spoke up and voiced their opinion more often"_
Get that every year
Mxcka Joy the classic line given to us 😂😂😂
Every damn book report
every. single. time.
I haven’t spoken a single word in a few of my classes. I think the teachers understand though, because they didn’t take off as much points for lack of participation compared to other people.
An introverts nightmare: *getting called to stand in front of the class*
I can relate! But i always thought that this fear of public speaking was becauce lack of self esteem? Do you mean that I have good self esteem anyway even If i hate to speak in front of a whole group just because I am introvert??
Im actually an introvert and i like being on stage in front of a crowd singing/acting. ^-^
I got stress just by reading this....
Yeah I literally sweat in my hands get shaky in my voice cracks
Not actually because when I'm getting called and ask to stand i think that it is my opportunity to say the thoughts I have about a certain topic or what I observed about it when it comes to presentations by groups, im the last resort or the last option, but if I am the leader I will do my best to carry my tea,
i’ve always hated myself bc i was an introvert but i’m glad i came across this video!!! i finally see things i can appreciate about myself

Everything here is in line with me
i prefer not talk at all rather than having an awkward conversation

To a certain extent an Introvert has to be social if they want to get something in life, or if they want to make a New friend. Because waiting for said extrovert to adopt you will not happen (in my case).
And while it's true that said trait is valid, Sadly for some things you do need connections.

The things introverts are good at:
1. Deep conversations
2. Being effective salesperson
3. Taking care of animals
4. Being observant
5. Being a great leader
6. Being a great worker
7. Listening to your troubles
8. Counseling
9. Thinking before acting
10. Knowing themselves
11. Being a source of wisdom
12. Being a loyal friend

Well, even for practical examinations, I didn't gathered courage to answer the questions which were asked out loud in groups but I gave answers to questions which were spoken to me directly.
