Great information thank you. I have a question, how would this affect when someone requests a song that is simultaneously played on UA-cam during your stream? Or what about even the music bots in our Discord servers? Also what if your channel doesn't take donations or subscriptions? Will all this still apply?
Basically any music that's played no matter where its from has the potential to get you a dmca strike unless you own the rights to that song. That why I encourage people to use RyFi or other dmca / rpyalty free music

I got a question, for notifications, what if you get a follow and a song comes up. Less than 10 seconds. Would you get a strike for that? Or would it be best to NOT have it.
Because I've seen the programs that can recognize copyright song within a couple seconds I wouldn't do it.

Cursing isn't much of an issue just make sure they are not using slurs. If so just mute em or don't play with them while streaming.

This whole DMCA problem sounds like one of many reasons why is not safe at all to exclusively stream on twitch and considering their very questionable history and treatment towards many streamers in general and the random bans it really makes me mad that this is an 'Adpocolypse' situation but much worse because aside of losing your channel you are forced to delete yours and your audience's best memories ... oh wait I am sorry not 'Delete' just 'HIDE' the videos because is still on twitch's server so is not really gone ... that's what the delete VOD option is for on twitch right? Right?
If a website punishes you hard for perfectly following simple instructions, It is NOT SAFE, Drop everything and grab your stuff and preserve it right away.
Yeah many people are unhappy with twitch over this and rightfully so. But again making content to only one platform these days is just bad.
