First, I have to compliment you on a job well done. Klein bikes have some of the most iconic paint jobs of the 90's. Second, While I love a challenge there is NO WAY I would have attempted a paint job on a Klein, even one as rough as this one had become. Great job. We will just have to see how well my second repaint of my '94 Super V goes this winter as I attempt a crystal effect on the swing arm AND a two color fade on top of that. Go big or go home!
Awesome paintjob! It looks like more pro, not amater. Like it how you repair those dents. I think you should have used orange color more intense like the original Klein (0:28) it would be even better.
I can’t seem to find the spray max acrylic filler anywhere in the US. Do you think their epoxy filler primer would work? The descriptions are almost identical
Can’t say for sure, but if its a filler it should work. Check out how thick coat in microns it produces and if it’s sand-able. An other alternative is to use a 1k filler, just try it out first on a test tube with your base color.

Not many views but one of the best spray can paint jobs on youtube!
Thank you! 🙏🏻 I agree, It does deserve a few more views.
Perfect painting
Well, that might be a bit exaggerated, but it turned out great! Thanks!

Thank you. It was nerve wrecking I must say and a huge load on my shoulders but managed quite well. 👍

I've always thought that Klien paint fade style was super cool
It is! 👍

Thank you! But I am a amateur for sure. 👍 well the color was good but I would have preferred a sharper fade, but that’s really hard with an aerosol. 👍
Hi! What grit do you use in sanding your clear coat? Thanks…i really enjoy your videos.👍👍👍
Thanks. I used 1000 in this case because I was a bit uncertain about how thick the first coat was. But 600-1000 is a good range. 👍

I'm not familiar with the filler you used, but if it's anything like Bondo, you should never wet sand it. It will absorb the moisture and swell.
No problem with this one, wet sand recommend in the instructions. 👍
Snyggt!
Tack!
