Can you Dial Similar Tone like Darkglass?
Sure, if you want to
Thanks for the bass review. I think of buying one so I don't have to lift my 18kg peavey or 38kg ampeg to the gigs.
Have you tried using stompboxes (eg RAT) in front of the Tonex?
I’ve been thinking about the same - just model my amp, stick it at the end of my pedalboard so I don’t have to lug my amp to smaller gigs or sessions and run a direct signal to FOH. Did you end up getting one for this purpose?
@@ObeseChess not yet, as we're still figuring out our in-ear monitoring with the band.
Where can I download or buy this captures that you made?
Is it the same size as the hx stomp? (thinking on building a new mini pedalboard 🤔)
Why not both together? HX Stomp has superb grade effects and can midi control the Tonex + has an FX Loop so you can add additional pedals when required
Do you think this technology has the power to overtake its competition like the Kemper and QC? Especially for the price?
maybe...all your stuff and contents are amazing man.
For some people, yes. With the ToneX pedal you get the option to pay only for the profile loading and leave out the the rest of the stuff that a Quad Cortex or Kemper has, like FX and the amp capture feature. If you don't have any amps yourself and only want to download profiles from others, ToneX is the clear way to go! If you need a complete live rig solution, Quad Cortex might be better.
But Tonex lets you capture tones as well? Not through the pedal, but you capture on the PC then send them over so it’s very similar
Quad cortex is closer to a whole pedal board, where this is only the amp, kemper has a powered version too. So I think they hit different markets but cross over
@@adamsteelproducer Shure, but you would need additional gear to capture amps (interface with line I/O or re-amp box or the ToneX Capture box). With the ToneX you can choose to not pay for that and get only the profile loading feature for much cheaper. If you don't have any physical amps to capture and don't need those features, you are paying for something you don't need when you buy the QC or Kemper.
So i can put all my saturate sounds, soft drive, hard drive, muff sounds... one by one throught my amp, capture them, and thats it? also chorus and flangers? octaver ?? so i can put all my pedal board!
No, modulations won’t get captured- fx like chorus are time based and would need to be a separate pedal
Cioks is pronounced "Chucks". Awesome video by the way. Waiting for my to come today.
Close... it's chocks. Hence the name of one of the power supply call ciokolate.
Can i isolate à justin chancellor bass line and then capture the tone with the tonex?
No, it doesn’t work like that
@@adamsteelproducer too bad
