Love this tutorial! I am enrolled in my first solidworks class and have learned quite alot these first four weeks. I am confident to design the simple parts that I am needed to in my class but I was wanting to take it to the next level and not travel my mouse and do repetitive actions that slow me down. Your technique is great and I like the "with one hand on my coffee cup" approach. I greatly appreciate you making this tutorial. I'll definitely be watching more of these instructional videos.
I agree with lasseborgos: this tutorial is very, very useful even if you have used SW for some time. I certainly will bookmark it because there is so useful information in it. Thanks Lars Aloha from Hawaii
This was exceedingly helpful. There were so many simple commands that you pointed out in this video that I had not encountered in other tutorials, and through trial and error, I had yet to find on my own. Thank you very much for the insight! This program is going to be MUCH easier to deal with now.
Thank you very much Sir for this wonderful and easy to understand tutorial.....appreciated a lot..... Learnt a lot and it will surely help me do things faster in Solidworks.
@35:32 was it a mistake for him to not give a dimension to the small 3 point arc between the two lower circles? It was given a radius of 12.62. I'm pretty sure he overlooked it
I have a question at 34:20, how did solidworks know to stop the line right there so he can conveniently draw an arc line to connect to the other circle? Also, does it matter where you stop the straight line? I mean I guess I can do a line anywhere, then 3 point arc, make tangent, then when I set the radius of the arc, it automatically fixes the length of the straight line right?
1 of the best solidworks tutorial in my opinion for those with some previous solidworks experience
