    That was really helpful. Looking forward to implementing a lot of your tips.
    I've had so many problems with working collaboratively with the SW Toolbox that I have stopped using the toolbox for hardware like screws and prefer to bring in McMaster parts. But they come in with modeled threads. I was wasting time fixing the models to remove the threads or not doing that and living with the wasteful overhead of the full threads. Your suggestion to just add a simplified Config to the downloaded McMaster parts and then suppress the thread features inside the simplified config in is the way to go. I will be doing that to a half dozen screws tomorrow.

    I cant find way the enveloppes are present in Bill material liste whene using speedpak configuration

    I personally think that if you have enough coin to afford a copy of Solidworks you have the money for a high-end PC to go with it. If not, give up on Solidworks and get a less expensive package. My opinion.
