Tbf i can see why Melanie became a villain. Her mother was a deadbeat, her father was a neglectful douche who cared more about his car than his daughter. The events of the first film probably didn't help. She probably also has tramua.(well probably much lesser than Cole's tramua since he was the main target, but nevertheless Bee tried to kill her too) I think her becoming an influencer wasn't just a meta joke or lazy writing. And it is clear that she would do anything to get that; even betraying her childhood best friend and becoming the leader of a Satanic cult. She's kind of a tragic villain really.
Interesting take. I wish they had elaborated more on her motivations though. Her transformation felt disappointingly flimsy - like going straight from "neighborhood sweetheart" to "pure evil psychobitch who enjoy killing."

That spoilers all the fun and mayhem! Thinking while typing that.... the devil would probability want an "innocent"..... someone who's been in the world to know better but has chosen a "good" path. Or ignore this and see first sentence 🙄
@@69wandering That's the most likely answer. when it comes to rituals darker forcers would prioritize the blood of an innocent soul, though honestly someone who wants to have sex but due to "treasuring themselves" for whatever reason, whether it's waiting for marriage or just until the "right" person comes along, would have a better sense of morals and strength of will/character/purity, etc versus the others who blindly follow their body's base urges. from this perspective, the point is a person who CHOOSES to abstain would be more inherently valuable in terms of "quality" than an infant or child who is only chaste because they physically "CAN'T"

@@confused3125 Wouldn't make sense with the second movie as well, since sacrificing one self isn't something the dark lord is known for in movie lore. If anything deceit and making deals with unintended consequences/prices are more his thing. :/
If anything, having the main boss as someone whe have seen already would be a much better reveal. Someone so ordinary and uninteresting that it takes some next level acting to pull it off? ;)
Making her good does not make sense, I agree, if she was the devil I would like it more, and yes, she is great when she is not trying to kill Cole, but so is Max.
first time watching this, the scene where cole finds out mel is evil what i thought what was gonna happen was that that wasn’t actually mel. it was bee using devil magic to disguise herself as mel, max as jimmy, john as diego, sonya as boom boom and allison would show up out of no where
This has similarities with Terminator and T2. In The Babysitter 1, Bee was the villain, while in The Babysitter 2, Bee was Cole’s guardian angel. Just like T1 and T2!
Ending explained on antebellum. I honestly don’t know if the ending needs explained. But I heard the reviews were terrible. So your breakdown would be highly enjoyable.
I loved Bee’s redemption at the end of this film, it kind of reminded me of Doc Ock’s redemption at the end of Spider-Man 2, I hope that Bee comes back as a redeemed ghost in Babysitter 3, maybe she can even be an ally to Cole
It was alright, only thing i didn't like was how quickly Cole and Phoebe fell in love. They met each other and then like 6 hours later had banged and pretty much claimed they were soul mates.
I hate being a dick, and you make a great point. But there's some weird attraction between people when they go through a traumatic event. Whether it be good friends, best friends and in this case start dating. It's not something alot of people know of. Like I said you make a great point, but the movie portrayed this in an over exaggerated and they definitely wouldn't have boned in the middle of all this, yet accurate way
@@kennyziegler4531 You mean the suspension bridge effect? Yeah it could lead to that, a relation starting from scratch and blooming in no time at all. I'm with you on that one, but the one I disagree with is when you say they wouldn't have boned in that circumstance. Fear is the greatest aphrodisiac. Once the danger seem to be far, all the hormones coursing through their bodies would have pushed them to bone as it would be a good way to release more dopamine, and have a chance to create an offspring as our instincts tell us to do. With them knowing they are in mortal danger and seeing people die in gruesome ways in front of them, the hormones must be really strong in them at that moment.
Okay so many things I didn’t like about this movie as I watched both (the first one and second one) back to back. If I am wrong about any of these please explain why. (WARNING SPOILERS FOR BOTH!! But then again why are you watching this channel if not for spoilers) 1. In the first one the bullies (at the end) are in shock that Cole killed “like 5 people!” They exclaim out loud. Which means that the police knew about it as cole was on the side not talking to anyone. But how did they know that these people died if THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE! 2. Also a thing off the the one above. How are the police not going to discuss the missing officers that died in the first film. Any cop would try to find that these people disappeared and tied it to the house. But then again there is “no evidence”. 3. The whole reason for phoebe showing up and the Bee and Mel interaction is hurting my brain because it makes no sense. So Bee came back told Mel about how the book works, so that way Mel could go and use the book. Bee also goes and bring Phoebe in the mix so that way Phoebe and Cole go and take his V card. Because Mel was going to take his blood. But none of this would happen if Bee didn’t tell Mel. So it’s ALL Bee’s fault. 4. Let’s be honest... no one wants more Bella Thorne in 2020. All in all too many plot holes for me
Yes, number 3 is a big one for me. Why would Bee tell Mel about the book since she had already had her change of heart by that poin? Instead, they should have shown a scene of Mel trying to find out what actually happened to Cole, stumbling across evidence of the blood cult and the book. They also needed to flush out why Mel is so obsessed with her social media followers that she would be willing to go after her best friend like that.
@@dudetheman3 without another ritual and having it fail they would continue returning, it is explained in the end that the only way to break the cycle is to have the blood be trained and the ritual has to fail
The second movie retcons a bunch of stuff to make this movie work. There's no way this was always planned as a trilogy of movies unless he was forced to change the first one into a self contained thing that didn't play out exactly how this one is saying. And it seems like the second one would have been changed to fit the first if they had meant to be a trilogy but it wasn't.
@@justinpainter1751 towards the end when they are in the basement of the cabin she scares him while he's peeing and he pees on her face.......which she was cool with lmao.

i really liked how they changed bee’s character into a more good guy than evil person but i would’ve loved to have seen something in her flashback that makes her like an ancient witch or smth
I think they did a heavy retcon on Bee, based on everything we've seen regarding her in the 1st movie. Then it was heavily implied that Bee is a demon and probably an ancient one.
Well, we still know almost nothing about her, so her story about saving her other responsibility from dying is still only her side of the story. It could have been a lie to sucker Cole into trying to get her out of hell, perhaps permanently in the third movie. Also, remember that when she died a second time, her "death" was unlike the other members of her crew, so that would indicate that she is something different. :/
@@sigmacademy Well I think her death being visually different was just so because she was a sympathetic character in the 2nd one and the filmmaker didn't want to visually represent her death as horrible as the others
The best things about these movies is their references and songs to the 70's and 80's. Anyone old, like myself, got the subtle hints and nods of a time long past. For a major instance, the fight scene from Billy Jack in the first movie is a wonderful example.
Ima be real I loved this movie, it had really stupid moments that felt like it was supposed to homage to former really crappy sequel, like the street fighter seen was pure.
Among the many inconsistencies, they mentioned that Cole's 12 in the first film, but now 17 in the second... despite the narrative saying there's a two year gap. Despite that, I still enjoy these films.

It did work because u can tell she was gonna turn on cole in the trailer if that wouldnt have been in the trailer then maybe it wouldve worked

I think it's a nice twist. In the first film, she is a sweet young girl who is helpful to her friend who is going through a tramatic experience. In the second film, puberty has set in. @@jeremyclarkson412 fuck, sorry, I was drunk typing that. I just meant that it's good to have movies that don't try too hard to be exceptional or something.
Well I wouldn’t know. I turned it off about halfway. The “special effects” don’t look believable, like early 2000s SFX.
Question: why not take the blood of a random baby or a toddler? I know this is a coming-of-age metaphor story, but this is waaay too much work for a virgin essentialy.
Why are all of the replies ho-bot 3000s?
That spoilers all the fun and mayhem!

@@69wandering That's the most likely answer.
when it comes to rituals darker forcers would prioritize the blood of an innocent soul, though honestly someone who wants to have sex but due to "treasuring themselves" for whatever reason,
whether it's waiting for marriage or just until the "right" person comes along, would have a better sense of morals and strength of will/character/purity, etc versus the others who blindly follow their body's base urges.
from this perspective, the point is a person who CHOOSES to abstain would be more inherently valuable in terms of "quality" than an infant or child who is only chaste because they physically "CAN'T"

Hot take: Bee should have been revealed as the devil.
Wouldn't really make sense if she was the Devil cus' it would ruin the first one
That wouldn't add up with the first movie
@@confused3125 Wouldn't make sense with the second movie as well, since sacrificing one self isn't something the dark lord is known for in movie lore. If anything deceit and making deals with unintended consequences/prices are more his thing. :/
If anything, having the main boss as someone whe have seen already would be a much better reveal. Someone so ordinary and uninteresting that it takes some next level acting to pull it off? ;)
Making her good does not make sense, I agree, if she was the devil I would like it more, and yes, she is great when she is not trying to kill Cole, but so is Max.
first time watching this, the scene where cole finds out mel is evil what i thought what was gonna happen was that that wasn’t actually mel. it was bee using devil magic to disguise herself as mel, max as jimmy, john as diego, sonya as boom boom and allison would show up out of no where
The fact that those two dudes explode and this movie is called killer queen has to be more than a coincidence

Phobe: Nope.
Like I said you make a great point, but the movie portrayed this in an over exaggerated and they definitely wouldn't have boned in the middle of all this, yet accurate way
I know I'm a damn nerd😂
@@kennyziegler4531 it's called trauma bonding
Well, that is the idea behind being soul mates, that there is an instant connection, a destiny of meeting and being together.

The Babysitter 2: Babysitting is Hard 2 Do
Okay so many things I didn’t like about this movie as I watched both (the first one and second one) back to back. If I am wrong about any of these please explain why. (WARNING SPOILERS FOR BOTH!! But then again why are you watching this channel if not for spoilers)
@@TheAwesomo28 Oh ok, so she set them up to fail. That makes more sense!
I think she was testing her
The second movie retcons a bunch of stuff to make this movie work. There's no way this was always planned as a trilogy of movies unless he was forced to change the first one into a self contained thing that didn't play out exactly how this one is saying. And it seems like the second one would have been changed to fit the first if they had meant to be a trilogy but it wasn't.
Even when dying max is proud of Cole for getting some he would’ve been such a good big brother figure
Still can't believe Melanie turned on him like that
She signed her soul away for 1 billion followers.

i really liked how they changed bee’s character into a more good guy than evil person but i would’ve loved to have seen something in her flashback that makes her like an ancient witch or smth
I think they did a heavy retcon on Bee, based on everything we've seen regarding her in the 1st movie. Then it was heavily implied that Bee is a demon and probably an ancient one.
Aleksandar Radovanovic Unless we get a prequel with Bee as the protagonist.
Marinus van Zyl That’s why a prequel could work.
@@sigmacademy Well I think her death being visually different was just so because she was a sympathetic character in the 2nd one and the filmmaker didn't want to visually represent her death as horrible as the others
my brain when seeing the poster : *cole got hot.*
I know!!! 😂
Yeah
The best things about these movies is their references and songs to the 70's and 80's. Anyone old, like myself, got the subtle hints and nods of a time long past. For a major instance, the fight scene from Billy Jack in the first movie is a wonderful example.
