I'm Carmen Vea 69 yrs old,I was stroke 4 yrs ago,schaemic infarction I did not continue my therapy because financial problem, what I did is to watch video in UA-cam I learn excercising like cardio, dumbbell n squat. Now I do 100 times squat n excercise.
About 3 months ago I changed from sitting on the floor for resting to sitting in a squat position, and the lower back pain and knee pain that I struggled with for years has completely disappeared. I would highly recommend it.

I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

I'm super new to working out. Like around four days in kind of new. I would always look perplexed at people squatting. I just couldn't fathom how they were doing it. It's never been a natural movement for me and yesterday I tried for the first time. I just couldn't work it out. This has really helped me. Thank you!
I had bilateral severely clubbed feet at birth and the corrective surgery at age 4 that cut my Achilles tendons, took 2 bone grafts from my shin, inserted them in each ankle and reconnected my Achilles tendons longer than before left me with extremely limited ankle flexibility and reduced flexibility in general in my lower limbs too. I love this exercise / stretch and do it daily!

I was struggling to keep more upright so bringing in the kettlebell is great direction. Will also try the band because I don’t have any issues building thigh strength so want more balance across more muscles. Thank you.

Great tips, I usually hit the glute extensions, and leg swings and do some 25% weight for 10 reps, then some ankle mobility - and progresively get to my working sets range.

wow, you're the first person who has a proper understanding of balance, and how carrying weight in front of you shifts the centre of balance, so your back can be more vertical, and doesn't preach to also keep the back vertical when doing them without weight. Also talking about how elevating the heels is a cheat, and not the proper way to do it. Thanks, I've always felt like I was the only one who thought this way, it's great so see that there are intelligent athletes out there 🧠🦾

Funny thing is I've actually incorporated the tip exercises into my warmup routine and I gotta admit, it feels really good. Maybe it's because I work a job where I sit alot and those movements feel good
My left knee is the number one problem for my not-so-great form when doing a squat. I'm 6'3 and it hurts like hell when I go half-way down. But I still do squats never the less because it's one of the best leg exercises.
Wrap it or get a compression brace! My left knee is shit too. So glad I played three years of football in High school.
I was looking for a comment like this. My left knee is my enemy when I’m active. I am years late on this post… clearly lol…but what do you use to wrap your knee? I have tons of wraps, just not sure if I’m using correct ones.
@@reneelivingston7366 normally the ones that are around 3-4 inch wide with a bit of elasticity.....you wrap it while ur leg is straight ..,

Would you have any insight what I should be working on/what body part is the issue: I can do a squat and up no problem. However, if I'm on the floor and I use the very common technique to get up: putting one foot up; into kneeling position; start to stand; other bring other leg upright into full standing....my knee/leg that I"m first pushing up on is soooooo weak, it just doesn't happen!!!!
I thought at first it was a knee problem, but I can't see how that could be when I can do squats. TIA!
