    Jr.Smith was always like a Ricky Davis up grade and bigger john starks with underrated handles and 1on1 skills. Iverson getting traded to Denver and that big brawl stunted Jr.smiths growth to being a allstar in Denver. BECAUSE Iverson came in and they moved JR to the 6th man but he was just blowing up

    • @crazycriz5000
      @crazycriz5000 2 роки тому +1

      @@sparkz11223 But if u gonna knock him u gotta give him credit cause he outrebounded guys he shouldn’t have also. I literally watched Tristan get a rebound through 3 guys. He got sooo many extra possessions for the Cavs and he stayed ready. As talented as JR was, he was inconsistent at times. Tristan was reliable. You can’t really compare their contracts and what they were getting paid because they played different positions and had 2 completely different roles for the team so its unfair to both of them to compare one with the other.

    He was like the top recruit out of highschool that year
    Im sure he won the slam challenge as a high schooler
    And when he came to the nuggets from the hornets
    He hit some big shots and him and Kenyon Martin took turns catching alley oops from Andre Miller

    If LeBitch was smart, He should sign Shump and J.R. to the Lakers and better his chances of actually being able to compete against the tough teams in the west

    JR definitely one of my favorite players all time but I can’t forgive him for what happened in 2018 😭💯

    JR honestly had a good career but revisionist history will say that he's just a choker who never did anything because of what happened in the Finals vs. the Warriors. I'll never forget my brother smoking me with the Knicks with JR, Iman, and Melo lol

      I don't see JR as a choker. Just made bone-headed plays sometimes, but could be a red-hot scorer when he got going. Overall the good outweighed the bad, that's why he played so long.

    A young JR Smith was a monster. He would take you to the basketball and dunk on you or hit a 3 from deep as heck. Dude was a baller.

    1000% agree with everything Iman said in this segment. Hate the way the media destroyed JR Smith.

      I understand what you're saying but it wasn't the media that got a rebound in the closing seconds of the NBA Finals and didn't realize what the situation was. It's easy to blame the media for everything but some of it was JR too.

      @@gregoryharlston0602 so one play defines a person’s career? Imagine if one mistake at work was the definition of your entire career? Think about how stupid what you what just said sounds and how the media plays these games with some of these athletes.

      @@gregoryharlston0602 how about you direct that fake hate toward George hill who choked at the free throw line , ty lue who was the head coach and didn’t even know they had a timeout, and what about the refs who didn’t pay attention to lebron when he was calling for a timeout

    I loved JR on the Cavs. He did some real bone headed shit sometimes but I couldn’t dislike him. Wished we could’ve been competitive for a few more years and kept him and Shump around.

    He did it to himself. In Denver JR could shoot, play make, dunk and play D. In Cleveland he turned into a spot up shooter. He did not even try and drive at all just stood in the corner.

    G I’m so glad he touched on this topic and was sensitive about it cause I say it all the time. Mfs play J.R like he’s a goofy and he’s not. He really was and still is THAT.
